Every visit is a delightful experience. I usually order a couple of samosas and either the tandoori chicken pizza or the butter chicken pizza. Today, I opted for the butter chicken pizza mild, and as always, it was bursting with flavor. Even the mild version has a delightful kick that keeps me coming back for more.
This restaurant is not just my favorite, but also a beloved spot for my son and my partner. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and authentically Indian. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, making every dining experience special.
So far, I have only ordered takeout, but I am looking forward to dining in the restaurant in the future. If you’re looking for a place that serves amazing Indian food with a unique twist, Tandoor Desi Restaurant is the place to go. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves great food and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Thank you, Tandoor Desi, for being our favorite dining spot!
The tandoori chicken was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with just the right balance of salt and spice. It’s a must try! We also ordered the lamb biryani, which was phenomenal. The lamb was boneless, melt-in your-mouth, and I requested it spicy, it delivered a serious punch! We also had chicken tikka masala (not pictured) and garlic naan. The naan was served fresh out of the oven, soft and hot, and the tikka masala was a definite win. If you’re new to Indian cuisine, the chicken tikka masala is an excellent starter dish that I’d recommend to anyone.
For dessert, we tried the gulab jamun. I know it’s meant to be sweet, this was overly sweet for my taste, I couldn’t finish my portion.
The interior of the restaurant is straightforward, nothing fancy or over the top. Large tables are set up along the sides and down the center, great for big groups. You can tell the restaurant has been around for years, and while the decor shows its age, the staff keeps it clean, who are very friendly. They also have a buffet setup, which I believe is available on weekends and during weekday lunch hours.(I may be wrong)
Oh, and if you’re a mango lassi fan, theirs is a must try! It’s creamy, generous in portion, and a perfect way to cool off after enjoying all the spicy dishes.
