Indian rose is the best restaurant ever.. as soon as I walked in the atmosphere was lively the staff were amazing. They couldn’t do enough..They Explain the menu asked if we were okay. The owner also couldn’t do enough always walking around talking to his customers helping out his staff as well and the food was absolutely delicious the Lamb biryani was delicious and the poppadoms were amazing..I left the restaurant very happy and very full.

Very stylish and modern Indian restaurant on Mutley Plain. I recommend ordering the signature starters and mains, so full of flavor and very well presented. The Garlic Chilli Chicken was superb.

Indian Rose was a delight from start to finish. As soon as we stepped through the door we were greeted with fantastic service and a warm welcoming smile. All staff were fantastic and really attentive to us. Food was sublime, piping hot, flavoursome and generously portioned. You really feel valued here and I couldn’t recommend them more. A definite must visit for anyone in Plymouth.

We went for valentines. When seated it was cold from the constant door opening so asked to move and was refused. Then waited 20 minutes for anyone to take our food order. Our waiter was fantastic but the boss kept shouting at him all night. Lovely…..not. Then waited for an hour for food that came out cold in cold dishes. When I spoke to the boss I was then told I had been moaning all night. Again lovely. Don’t complain because it will get you knowhere because I repeated got told that he has many many awards. . I left upset and distressed as £119 for food we didn’t eat was disgusting. Happy valentines everyone don’t go here.

Its indian restaurant, chefs are from Bangladesh, they are cooking Indian foods according to the Non Indian people taste. Amazing restaurant. I will not prefer this restaurant to Indian people who want the same taste like INDIA. They don’t have enough staff. During the off peak time, After giving food order you have to wait minimum 30 minutes. My experience was not good.

The food is excellent, really great. Try and taste the momo’s and you feel you are in India / Nepal (again).
The service is fantastic and the people really want you to have a great time and experience.
Don’t let “the pink” color disturb you, take a seat and enjoy…
Thank you very much.

If, like me, you love indian cuisine, then it doesn’t get better than this. There food tastes so good, almost particular to them. You can tell they use whole spices and I will return again and again. The lady behind the counter is lovely too. I had king prawn biriani and it was amazing. Tonight I went for vegetable side dishes and I wasn’t disappointed. This place is well worth your money and when I return to Plymouth next week, I will be going back. Great portions, great value for money and gorgeous flavours.♥️

I’ve been wanting to go to this award winning restaurant for ages & it didn’t disappoint.
Situated on Mutley Plain, although fairly small, there are plenty of tables and you don’t feel cramped together.
It is a very “Instagram-able” place with pink neon lighting & pink flower covered walls.
Only downside to the lighting is that all the food & yourselves look very pink/ purply.
I took a few photos of the food with a flash so the dishes look real!
We booked a table for 15 and the staff were very efficient at taking our orders and gave friendly service.
There is a very extensive menu, with lots of new, un-commonly seen dishes to try. Many varieties of pilau rice & naan breads.
The Madu hot honey naan was crispy & delicious. Every one of our party really enjoyed their food and will be returning.
We went early on a mid-week evening so the staff could cope with our large order etc. However, to help them it would be preferable if you could order in advance when booking.
They also offer take-away.
