A fantastic meal from start to finish. We began with the traditional poppadoms and chutneys. The Nigella prawns are must try and the Tandori mixed grill provide variety of meats all marinated perfectly I would highly recommend this place for any curry lovers!

Most excellent food, Well presented and delicious well spiced curries, great dips that came out with the poppadoms.
Quick service and really nice atmosphere about the whole place. Highly recommend but would book a table in advance as it’s a small venue. May require a deposit up front for if booking larger groups.

We’re very lucky to have this excellent Indian restaurant within a short walk from our home and consequently we’ve eaten there many times. We have also taken many of our friends and relatives there. Without exception, we’ve always enjoyed delicious food. The presentation, particularly of the starters, is great. We consider the pricing to be very reasonable. We are fairly regular customers and we have always been treated very well by the owner and the staff.
The menu selection is a nice balance of traditional favourites and slightly more unusual ‘chef’s specials’. There are some less spicy options but they will turn up the heat upon request for those with a more robust palette.
We would also highly recommend their set meal Christmas Day lunch, which is extraordinary value for money. A very different way to spend Christmas with a few friends

Squeezed in on a busy Friday night, had a great time. The atmosphere was a treat in their cosy main room and the food was excellent! Went back again after our first visit and had another great experience!

Probably the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. The starter was on a different level – salmon tikka with the different types of sauce and curly vegetables. Beautifully presented and I also enjoyed different flavours and textures with sauces and/or vegetables. The whole experience was amazing. The lamb shank was melting in my mouth but it was huge and I could not finish and I felt so guilty. I’m not a local but if I have a chance to come back to Bristol I’d definitely visit here again. Highly recommended to anyone who loves Indian cuisine.

Best Indian we’ve ever had! Prices are really reasonable and the location is close the Bristol city centre. Cosy restaurant and not too many tables so it is nice for date night. The food was delicious and I would highly recommend the Mixed platter for mains. Everything had lots of flavour and the service was great.

We have visited this wonderful restaurant many times and have always been impressed by both the consistent outstanding service, presentation and quality of the food.
It’s a rare restaurant that maintains its high standards but the Indian Rassasy is the exception.
We continue to be impressed with their service and quality of the food. The new menu is worth going again for alone.
If you have not been, it’s well worth the visit.
They continue to surprise me with the quality and service.
Five years on and it’s still as good as ever

Our first visit to this eatery although we know the venue well.
It was a bitter cold night so it was lovely to sit by a radiator.
The good was delicious, served professionally in lovely china. The food was hot & the whole experience was great

This place is amazing service and food is 10/10. This restaurant is so unique and cosy. They satisfied our bellies with the best Indian dishes and the most popular Indian dessert that was made from grated carrots, milk and sugar, stirred and cooked together. I couldn’t believe that it would taste sooo good! Also, their hospitality and charming staff would make your day with funny jokes. We will come back more often ☺
