We had a great lunch experience at Indian Pueblo Kitchen. Our server was so kind and helpful. He recommended excellent dishes. We loved the fried pickles, loaded fries, elk chili, Indian taco and blue corn enchiladas. The green chili sauce was amazing! I recommend trying the Zia sodas. The prickly pear cactus was our favorite. It reminds me of a light fruit punch.

This was a wonderful experience. The fried bread was so good. I got the taco and she got the salad. The star of the show was the front end greeter. She was friendly, customer focused and the perfect “face” of the restaurant. The food was fresh and very tasty. The staff moved like they were in a dance. Our server was a little busy but friendly and as attentive as she could be. This is not a slam, I could see what she was doing and could clearly see she was giving it her all. I’m very glad we went here on our last night in NM. This was some of the best food we had in NM and I would go here again if ever back. Do not leave without trying the fried bread. What a wonderful creation!

The Indian Pueblo Kitchen is connected to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Community Center. The restaurant deserves the high ratings, and it was a privilege to taste the Pueblan inspired dishes.
We started with the Fried Kool Aid Pickles which were both unique and addictive. I had the Taste of the Pueblos dish which came with three stews (green chili pork, red chili beef, and vegetable) and breads. Although all three stews were good, the red chili beef stew was my favorite of the three. My spouse chose the Indian Taco. The food was fantastic and the portions were generous. I ordered a Zia Sandia Watermelon soda to drink which was also fantastic.
We came at noon, and although the restaurant was busy, we were seated immediately. We noticed that there was a waiting line when we left an hour later.
We stopped in for lunch as a break in our time at the Cultural Center. However. There is a separate entrance for the public who are not visiting the Cultural Center.
There is a large parking lot behind the Cultural Center.

I am in town for work and wanted authentic food! After a quick Google search I was informed that there is a restaurant inside the museum that has delicious food and decided to check in! I highly recommend. I did visit on National Indigenous Day so I had to wait about an hour for a table but so worth it. I was adventurous and got the kool-aid fried pickles, a New Mexican soda and the blue corn enchiladas! Delicious!

Do you want to be full for the whole day? Do you want a breakfast burrito the size of a forearm? Do you want blue pancakes? Definitely give this place a look! It’s a fun time. The food is really good and we didn’t have to wait!

Quick stop on a road trip but very much enjoyed the food. Service was excellent and prompt with very flavorful dishes. We ordered and recommend the chicken enchiladas with green and red sauce as well as the elk chili with corn bread. Thank you 🙂

I arrived at 2pm on a Wednesday. There was a crowd, but parking and seating were both easily available. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We did end up waiting over 20 minutes for three meals. This was my first experience here so I am not familiar with the average cook time and as mentioned before, there was a crowd so maybe the kitchen was a little behind. I enjoyed the blue corn enchiladas topped with ground beef and a squash medley. The enchiladas were delicious. I added red and green chilies, but I still added some of the spicy, pepper seasoning they have on the table as I like my food a bit on the spicy side and the chilies added some flavor, but no heat. The squash medley was refreshing but also needed a little something so I added salt and pepper. Although I enjoyed the meal overall, I will probably order something different next time. One of my friends ordered the Monte Cristo but seemed a bit disappointed. It comes with a sweet sauce drizzled on top, but the sandwich needed more as it was on the dry side and a bit bland. I definitely recommend asking for extra sauce on the side for dipping. The place has an open space, cafeteria kind of feel to it. There are booths and tables for seating. Everything appeared clean and tables were promptly cleared when people were done eating. 7/10 I will come back. Overall the experience was enjoyable, but nothing stood out as exceptional. Be sure to give yourself time to wander through the gift shop too.
