Indian restaurant. We felt super welcomed by Arvi. And we tried the chef’s specials that were so good, flavours really balanced. We love the starters, really original onion bhaji, also the sheesk lamb and the chicken Silbatta, really recommend this place
We kicked things off with a poppadom basket, onion bhaji and samosa chaat, all of them exactly what you want from starters: crisp, tasty and full of flavour. For mains, the vegetable biryani was bright and aromatic, the roast paneer tikka tender, and the mutter paneer a smoky, silky curry, easily the best I’ve ever tasted. Garlic naan and aloo kulcha were perfect for soaking up every last bit. For dessert, the mango kulfi and ras malai were light, creamy and a lovely way to finish. The drinks, from a crisp mojito to a fragrant lychee breeze, were refreshing and well balanced too.
Beyond the food, the restaurant features a sumptuous bar and a projector screen for sports events, blending sophistication with fun. Every element, from ambiance and service to presentation and flavors, comes together seamlessly, making Indian Panorama a truly refined and memorable dining experience.
The Laal Maas was incredibly spicy and fiery, perfect for those who love bold, intense flavours—it definitely packs a punch! ️
The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even better. The ambience of the restaurant is relaxing and chill, with soothing background music that feels pleasant to the ears and adds to the overall comfort.
Without a doubt, this is the best Indian restaurant in Chelsea, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic flavours and a great atmosphere.
What made the evening even better was the outstanding service from Arvi. She was warm, attentive, and ensured everything arrived just right. Her recommendations were spot-on and added to our overall dining experience.
If you’re looking for delicious Indian cuisine paired with excellent service, Indian Panorama Chelsea is definitely worth a visit!
The food is to die for, i 100% recommend the lamb chops as main, I had the onion bhaji( the presentation like never before guys) and my guilty pleasure, tarka dal.
Sujit made such a big impact to the atmosphere and menu. Such a beautiful place.
Thank you guys, we will come back!
We began with a series of small plates that set the tone well. The Onion Bhaji was their take on a familiar favourite, crisp on the outside and well seasoned inside. My friends were quick to praise it, and it disappeared from the table fast. The Punjabi Samosa Chaat followed, layered with peas, crunchy potatoes, chickpea curry, and pops of pomegranate. It delivered contrast in texture and flavour, with sweetness, tang, and spice working together. The Chandi Chowk Ki Aloo Tikki was another highlight, spiced potato patties topped with fresh yoghurt, tamarind chutney, and sprouted beans. It felt generous and comforting, with a clear nod to Old Delhi street food.
Seafood starters were handled with confidence. The Scallops Hariyali were juicy and fragrant, coated in green herbs and spices that lifted the natural sweetness of the scallops. The Fish Amritsari was equally impressive. Lightly coated fish fillets carried the familiar warmth of spices associated with Amritsar, delivering depth without overpowering the fish. Both dishes showed restraint and balance, which is not always easy to achieve.
From the tandoor, the Mango Malai Tikka stood out for its softness. Chicken breast pieces were tender and gently sweetened by ripe mango, with the tandoor adding subtle smokiness.
The Tawa Sheekh Kebab was another strong dish. The minced lamb was soft, juicy, and well seasoned, cooked in an iron pan to keep it moist while developing flavour. This was one of those dishes that encourages you to slow down and enjoy each bite.
Moving on to mains, the Old Delhi Butter Chicken arrived rich and comforting. The chicken was well-cooked and smoky, though for my personal taste, I would have liked more heat and a deeper buttery finish rather than the tomato-forward profile.
The Chicken Silbatta offered something different, with chicken cubes coated in stone-ground green spices and herbs, finished with coconut milk. It was aromatic and smooth, and the traditional grinding method added a sense of authenticity.
The Rajasthani Laal Maas came with expectations of intensity. While the lamb was tender and the sauce well-built with whole spices, it lacked the fiery kick typically associated with this dish. I would have welcomed more heat from the red chillies. In contrast, the Grilled Burrah Chops were outstanding. Marinated for hours and cooked beautifully, the lamb cutlets were succulent and deeply flavoured. Each bite delivered satisfaction, making this a clear must-order.
The Lamb Lucknowi Biryani rounded off the savoury dishes well. Long-grain basmati rice was fragrant with saffron and spices, paired with tender lamb. Served with raita, biryani sauce, and pappadum, it felt complete and comforting. A selection of naan breads and lachedar paratha accompanied the meal, perfect for scooping up sauces.
The ambience at Indian Panorama is warm and polished, ideal for both relaxed dinners and special occasions. The staff are friendly and attentive, with special mention to Arvi, who ensured the evening flowed smoothly.
Indian Panorama feels like a confident addition to Chelsea’s dining scene, offering food that brings joy and encourages return visits.
