Good spot for authentic Indian food. Nice restaurant, great atmosphere. We enjoyed the dishes, our favorites were the Malai fish, the on veg appy platter and the Motichoor cheesecake was amazing. Service was excellent and prices are reasonable considering the generous portions

This is actually one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve tried so far in vancouver. First of all the ambiance is vibey and classy, there’s lots of nice window seating and pretty decor.
The staff are so incredibly friendly and attentive and made some great recommendations.
My all time favorite dish was the Malabar fish curry, the coconut base really hit the spot for me. The motichoor cheesecake also 10/10, the most unique and delicious cheesecake I’ve had in a while, layered with crumbly bits and pistachio.
They’re participating in dine out vancouver with a $35 3 course menu, one of the more affordable dinner options with quality well portioned dishes, great options, and upscale vibes.
Also they have beautiful 2oz cocktails starting at $8 and mostly in the $10 range.

I’ve been to Indian Oven many times this past year and I’ll keep coming back. I don’t even think I use my own oven anymore. Some of my favourites are the mango chicken, egg curry, baby eggplant, chicken tikka burger, anything with paneer. Every time I try something new it ends up being my new favourite.
Something people don’t talk about enough is their cocktails. Their special cocktails are the best and never disappoint. Between the cocktails, the service, and the amazing food, this place is the perfect spot for a night out in Kitsilano. The name fits too because everything here the staff, food, and atmosphere are always warm and welcoming.

We’ve been ordering takeout from this restaurant for years, and the food is consistently excellent every single time. The flavors are always spot-on, fresh, and satisfying. Our absolute favorites are the Kandai chicken and the Bhindi — both dishes are packed with flavor and cooked perfectly every time.
Delivery is always on time, and the food arrives hot and ready to enjoy, which makes the experience even better. It’s rare to find a place that maintains such high quality and consistency over the years. Highly recommend!

Wow, words truly can’t express how I feel about Indian Oven. Genuinely one of the most glorious and much needed meals of my life. I fear the things I learned about myself while dining at this stunning restaurant will stay with me long after the food has digested Perhaps I’m experiencing limerance but I can only hope Indian Oven loved having me as much as I enjoyed being had ❤️ WOULD DINE AGAIN!

The food is amazing! I have eaten in the restaurant which has a lovely atmosphere, and ordered take out more times than I can remember. Favourite for me is the lamb saag and chicken tikka masala, and the bone-in goat biryani. I love too that for a 5K radius delivery is free! Always arrives at my door step perfectly on time!

Delicious lunch at the Indian Oven for my dads birthday. Lunch special is $15 for a very filling multi-curry meal that includes rice and naan. Delicious chai, drinks, plus a yummy bday treat at the end! Great restaurant, highly recommend.

We visited Vancouver one day and found this restaurant because of its Google reviews. The restaurant is clean and nice decorated. We ordered butter lambs, goa fish curry with two cheese naams. Butter lambs were tender, and the sauce tasted like tomato based and full of Indian flavor. Goa fish curry is lighter flavor than butter lambs but still very tasty. The fish did not deep fried, which some restaurant had, and no fishy. Cheese naams were not oily and good with those two sauces.
Their service was very good too.
This restaurant impressed us, considering the price and food quality.
If I visit Vancouver again, I will definitely come here at least once to try other dishes.

I am almost afraid to rate this place as i don’t want it to become so busy we can’t get a table!

The young ladies who run the floor are wonderful… kind, helpful, and generous.
The drinks are superb and very reasonably priced.
The food is to die for… I love Indian food being a brit, and this place delivers perfectly. Best Indian food is have ever had in Vancouver. Vij should weep in shame compared to this place.
All I can say is thank you so much, please remain as you are and I will come and visit you every single time I am in Vancouver! And bring all of my friends

The Indian Oven is an established business and continues to serve delicious food with good portions. We met the owner who came out to check on us and it was overall a wonderful experience. Great service and value for money.
Update: I went back again recently with the family and the food ordered was again delicious and good value for money.
