Authentic, flavour-packed Indian food in the heart of Prague!

I visited Indian Jewel last night and it was easily one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in Europe. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was exceptional. My server, Suresh, took great care of us the entire evening — friendly, attentive, and quick with recommendations.

We started with the samosas, which were perfectly crispy on the outside with a well-spiced filling inside. The Aloo Gobi was packed with flavour, and the butter chicken was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. Paired with fresh garlic naan, everything came together perfectly. The presentation was excellent too — colourful, generous portions, and piping hot.

I also tried a Kingfisher beer, which was a nice touch of home (if you’re used to Indian dining). The whole experience felt authentic and thoughtfully prepared.

If you’re craving real Indian food while in Prague, this place is a must-visit. I’d definitely come back. Thanks again to Suresh for making the night even better!

We visited here when on holiday as my husband LOVES Indian food and we read lots of great reviews! It did not disappoint!
Really friendly and welcoming staff. Attentive but not over the top which we like.
They had an incident with the fire alarm just after arriving which resulted in no gas initially but we were kept informed and they had it back up and running 20mins later so glad it was sorted as we were dreading not being able to try the food as it smelt so good when we walked in!
The food was amazing, great flavours, the chicken just fell apart and the portion sizes were so good we had to take some away with us! Prices for both food and drinks are very reasonable.
Highly recommend a visit here if you’re in beautiful Prague.

Absolutely fantastic, we were staying over the road in the Central Hotel and decided to visit this place. The staff were very helpful and polite and explained the menu to us. Our meal was cooked to perfection and we were not rushed and were made to feel very welcome. If your staying in Prague and fancy something different than the traditional fare you shoukd try this place.

We were here for dinner on New Year’s Eve. The food was fantastic, extremely tasty, and served very quickly. The atmosphere is very inviting and you feel very comfortable.

The service was excellent. Suresj, our waiter, was very friendly and attentive. He was in a great mood and enjoyed his work. Very quick and precise.

We were all given party hats and accessories to get us in the mood for New Year’s Eve.

All in all, excellent!

During my visit to Prague, I was craving Indian food and stumbled upon this restaurant. It was quite spacious with ample seating, but it tends to get crowded, so it’s advisable to make a reservation in advance to avoid any hassle.

I ordered Naan, Roti with Paneer gravy, and Mango Lassi. The flavors were truly authentic North Indian, and the dishes were delicious. However, I must mention that they added an excessive amount of masala and spice to the curry, which seemed a bit too much.

Despite this minor issue, the breads were fantastic, and I would definitely visit this restaurant again.

Stop by for dinner and we were seated quickly. The service and the ambience was good. We ordered some traditional dishes like chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, mango lassi, rice, Indian bread. The taste of the food was nothing like authentic Indian food, which we have had throughout the world. Chicken Tikka Masala was too thick and tasted nothing like a tasty curry that it should be.

Had dinner in Prague and really loved the indian food here. Vibe of the restaurant was very authentic and indian. Service was very quick and fast. We ordered Chana masala and Kadai Panner which was really good. It was not oily at all and felt really healthy. Unfortunately, did not take great pictures
