We had a fantastic experience in this recently opened branch of MIK.
The quality, taste, and attention to detail while plating the items is incredible.
We loved Ghee Nalla Kara Masala Dosa, the triple Thatte Idlis topped with 3 different masalas, Mysore Malli Dosa, Benne Dosa, Onion Tomato Chilli Uthappam, and the fulfilling Weekend thaali. Filter coffee is of course a must try!
The staff was very inviting and suggested delicious items to try.

Excellent South Indian Vegetarian restaurant in Pleasanton California USA. There was heavy rush, so had to wait for almost an hour for the food before we 8 Members could enter. Even though late, food was tasty and Excellent. We ordered Mini thali, raagi dosa, mik thali and kesari sweet and coffee. Food was awesome.

I think they have changed their name and menu recently.. A group of family came in and left without ordering and they were discussing with the person taking the order
We ordered the masala dosa and plain dosa.. while they were huge but absolutely no taste.. chutney was bad and sambhar was ok. There was no one when we came in at ~730pm.. Service is just ok.. They do not serve idlis even thou they are a South Indian restaurant.. Ambience is just ok
anyway will not be coming back

Will not recommend this place. My review is in 2 parts:
1) in store dining: went for dinner with family.. 4 people .. order 4 dosas , upma and 2 premade drinks. Took 20 mins and a follow up to get the drinks. For what it’s worth the drinks were good. Took 45 mins before the first item came. We got tired and asked them make it Togo as Children were tired and didn’t want to eat anymore. Food was undercooked and we did not like it at all.
Visit this place if you have lot of patience and enjoy undercooked food.
2) TooGoodToGo order: charged $7.75 for this. Was supposed to pick up at 9:15pm. Was not ready till 10pm. What they gave us in the picture below.. white rice and 1 poori , probably costs less than $1 . Understand they will provide what is not sold that day , but, this is just beyond pale.

Absolutely loved the food here! The shrimp fried rice was packed with flavor—perfectly cooked rice and just the right amount of spice. The biryani was a highlight—aromatic, rich, and served with raita that complemented it perfectly. I also tried a few South Indian dishes, and they were spot-on! The dosa was crisp, the sambar was flavorful, and the chutneys were fresh and authentic. If you’re craving delicious Indian food with real taste and quality, this place is a must-try. Highly recommend!

Very nice food!! Loved loved loved the rasam (which they specially made on my request) homemade and fresh dosa and idli and sambhar. They made sure that we liked the food. Amazing hospitality by the couple. Lady who’s cooking came outside to check with us about the food!! They also gave me sample curd rice to taste which I liked a lot. Must try and go-to place for authentic south Indian food.

Tried Mirchi Bajji, Idiyappam, Set Dosa and Wada. However, Mirchi Bajji could have been cooked a bit better as it was raw from inside. Idiyappam is okayish. Wada was good. Can give a try!

If you’re craving authentic South Indian flavors, this place is a must-visit! The idli was soft and fluffy, just the way it should be, and the vada had that perfect crispy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside texture. I absolutely loved the pongal—comforting, well-spiced, and served piping hot. But the real star of the menu is their variety of dosas—from classic masala dosa to more creative variations, each one was crispy, flavorful, and generously filled. The accompanying chutneys and sambar were fresh and delicious. Great service, clean ambiance, and unbeatable taste. Highly recommend for any South Indian food lover!

I have ordered a veg thali and dosas today the food is excellent.Very large selection of dosa to try here. Anybody who loves dosa n idly should check this place out .Mysore masala dosa is the best one . Also try cheese dosa n benne dosa absolutely mouth watering ,really a typical south Indian flavour. There’s a lot more to try as well.over all it’s worth for the money , good to go….
