Dropped by over the weekend for lunch. There was plenty of seats so we were seated fast.
The food came out in a timely manner and were seasoned well. Even my picky kid ate the food.
The prices were fare for the area. And overall a good place for a quick bite

We ordered vegetarian 2 course dinner. Food was good overall, can’t say must try or the best you get, bit high priced for what you get, but is it is ok. Cholay bhature was very good, samosa chaat tasted nice, Gobi Manchurian was ok, pani puri is ordinary, Malai kofta was good, Paneer butter masala was garnished with mushroom, some vegetarians don’t like that, but gravy tasted nice.
Parking is not free, but from the restaurant, you get 2 hours of free parking when you scan and register online.

Incredibly flavorful! I absolutely love the tikka masala—I’ve had it with lamb, fish, and paneer, and it never disappoints. No matter the protein, the sauce is consistently rich and delicious, which keeps me coming back time and again. And the naan? Always fresh and perfectly soft. A go-to spot for a satisfying meal!

Average to below average as an honest reviewer. Flavor profiles are not authentic and for much more delicate palates. Do not get any cream based curry (butter/ tikka masala/ curry). They are way too creamy and without flavor or spice. Interestingly there were only two kebab options. Lamb kebab was extremely dry and lacking in flavor. Garlic naans were good and above average. Daal Makani was also good. Medium spice was also not spicy at all; would be mild at other restaurants. I hope this review helps! (TLDR: Id recommend if you’re craving Indian food as casual takeout but this place is nowhere near a 4-5 rating. Average to below average at best).

By far the best Indian food in San Leandro and better than a lot of Oakland’s. Dishes are well spiced, complex without being overwhelming and just the right sauce level to be good with rice or nan. Service is excellent.

The food was quite good, especially the onion chili salad. The prices aren’t too bad. The customer service was a little gruff, but since we were just picking the food up, it wasn’t a big deal. I probably wouldn’t eat in the dining room here, though.

The food generally food. I love their snack/appetizer items the most. They can moderate the spice level as per your request. They also have soya chaap which is really amazing. They have a vegan menu separate for convience and better service. The place is nice and cosy. However, they do pay Punjabi music inside which gives a dhabha feel but it’s something I personally don’t prefer. The parking is free for the customer (don’t see trust the paid parking board outside and if you accidentally get any tickets, let the restaurant manager know). Their Indo-chinese dishes are a little sweeter. You can ask them to not make it very sweet. Overall, I like the place for it’s tasty and good quality of food and service.

I go there to eat the thali often. However recently their portions are lesser for the same money. I ordered a chicken curry takeout and the 8oz container was only ⅔ rd full. Literally got cheated with 4 pieces (cubes ) of boneless chicken and some curry . All for $17 ! That’s shrinkflation all the way !!

I thought the food was good, they ask you if you would like your selections mild, medium or spicy. Very hospitable and clean. I will go back and try the lunch buffet 11:00am to 2:30pm for $15.00.

Great Indian takeout in San Leandro / Oakland boarder. Warning: butter chicken is addictive! Signs of withdrawal: watery mouth, lack of interest in other food and dream about an orange creamy stew over basmati rice.
Tip: spicy option is HOOOT. Settle for medium
