The honey sesame chilli potatoes? Absolutely chef’s kiss; packed with flavor and perfectly saucy.
The masala chai? It was okay. Honestly, I haven’t found any really good chai anywhere in Calgary, so I’d skip it.
The service is a bit slow, but honestly, I don’t mind when the food is this good!
Let’s just say I’m a fan and will definitely be coming back.
I am eating from this restaurant single 2023. But their quantities have gone less than half from past few weeks or days.
Today I order soup which was in their smallest container.
Any reason for it, cuz I have pics from past and I have pic now as well for same order.
Please mention reason if owner reads this comment.
These guys use the cheapest ingredients they can find and put as little effort in as possible
Tamarind chutney was watery and somehow lacking flavour
Veg samosa were barely cooked, the dough was still soggy and consisted mostly just just mashed potatoes
Serving uncooked/improperly cooked food is very dangerous in case you didn’t know!
Order of naan only comes with 2 pieces (every other place I’ve ever been comes with minimum 3)
Butter chicken was the best part of the meal and that was average
Spend your money elsewhere
The food they served is continuously degrading/ getting worse in the way of presentation, quality and it feels that they don’t care about orders anymore. Ordered 5 plates of Dahi Bhalla and see the messy preparation. Some were highly spicy – some were extremely sweet, most of them didn’t have “Dahi” . For God sake, it’s a “Dahi” Bhalla. Beware Guys!!!

Our first dish was the “vegetarian” hot and sour soup. After just a few sips, we noticed a strange taste and unfamiliar pieces in the soup. When we asked the server to check, we were shocked to hear, “Sorry, it’s not vegetarian.”
This was extremely disappointing and honestly upsetting. Because of their mistake, we ended up consuming meat for the first time in our lives. This is not a small error — it’s a complete disregard for dietary restrictions and customer trust.
This restaurant used to be one of our favourites, but after this experience, we will not be returning. Serving non‑vegetarian food to customers who explicitly request vegetarian options is unacceptable and shows a serious lack of care and responsibility.
Though the prices of the dishes are bit pricey compared to other restaurants. The ambiance is nice and the place has decent space. One thing to note is the quantity of the dishes is bit less compared to the prices they charge in comparison to other similar restaurants.
