It is always one of the most flavour filled meals for an eat out dinner. We always try different things and are never disappointed. Presentation is great and food is delicious!! Two appys and two mains along with rice and Naan bread – for three ppl and we took some home.

I ordered from here via DoorDash based on glowing google reviews about generous portion sizes. This must only apply to in person dining because with DoorDash they up the prices by 9 dollars and then send you a tiny takeout container, half full of rice and half full of sauce with 3 pieces of chicken in it with a side of 2 half pieces of naan for 30 DOLLARS absolutely abysmal portion size, you get about the same amount in a 6 dollar microwave butter chicken dinner from the store, albeit the quality is a step-up. I personally will never order here again, complete waste of money.

The food was absolutely delicious with rich, authentic flavors, but what really made the visit memorable was the exceptional service. Both servers, Yuvika and Dasdeep, were outstanding. They were extremely polite, patient, and always attentive to my needs. They made sure everything was perfect, checked in regularly , and handled everything with a smile. Their professionalism and friendly attitude made us feel truly valued as guests.

The Butter Chicken here rivals the legendary Daryaganj, Delhi version—it’s rich, creamy, and bursting with authentic flavors. We also tried the Tawa ka Latpata Paneer (Kadai Paneer) on a whim, and it turned out to be one of the tastiest paneer dishes we’ve ever had. Truly worth it!
We requested Stuffed Naan, which wasn’t even on the menu, but the owner was so courteous and had it specially prepared for us.
Moong Daal Halwa was absolutely authentic, rich, and comforting—just like back home.
If you’re in Canada and haven’t tried this place yet, you’re definitely missing out!!

This is a very special Indian restaurant, with a creative menu that goes beyond the usual Indian fare, and beautiful distinct flavours for every dish, which comes in generous portions for reasonable prices. Had three vegetarian dishes, plus rice and naan, and they were all superb. The service was friendly and helpful, and all around it was a great dining experience. I will definitely return on any trip to Owen Sound.

We visited Indian Desire in Owen Sound for a late Valentine’s Day lunch and had an amazing experience! The food was absolutely incredible — bursting with flavour and exciting every taste bud. Every dish was perfectly prepared and full of authentic spice.
Yuvika and Komal were wonderful servers — warm, attentive, and so helpful in guiding us through the menu and making great recommendations. Their service truly made our afternoon special. Would definitely recommend the Old Dehi Lamb Korma dish, it was excellent .
