Indian Desire in Niagara Falls is a real gem and a truly outstanding dining experience. While there are many other Indian restaurants in the area, this one stands out for its incredible authenticity and rich, exquisite flavors.
The staff are exceptionally well-trained, and their knowledge of gluten-free options and other allergies is reassuring. The food itself is a treat, with beautifully presented dishes that are rich and flavorful, just as authentic Indian cuisine should be. We’ve tried most of the menu and haven’t been disappointed yet. The Butter Chicken is legitimately fantastic, and all of the tandoori dishes are well above what you’d find at other places.
This is a more high-end restaurant, so you’ll want to dress nicely and be prepared to spend a bit more than you would at other Indian spots. However, the experience is so worth it. An added bonus is that the spice levels are perfectly balanced, so you won’t have any issues the next day. It’s a must-visit for anyone who appreciates truly authentic Indian food.

We had a wonderful dining experience here tonight. The food was delicious, the service was warm, and the team went above and beyond to make our evening special. They even prepared kulchas for us on request, even though they usually serve them only during lunch. That extra effort truly made our meal memorable. Highly recommend this place for both great food and great hospitality!

We tried
1. Bao chicken wrap – My daughter loved it, chicken was tender and juicy
2. Kur Kure corn – Item was ok, we expected it to be crunchy as the name sounds but they weren’t
3. Amritsari Kulcha was good but the Chloe that served with it isn’t that great
4. Chole batura was also ok, same chole so same comment.
Overall one time try, not something I will visit again.

Having tried their food couple of times at their Owen Sound location, we already had high expectations from this location, when we recently visited.
The food was as excellent as we expected! The wait time was short and the service was quick. We ordered Amritsari Kulcha and Chana, Dum Aloo and Paratha for dine-in and Paneer Butter Masala for take out. Each dish was a flavourful treat to our tastebuds!
A special thank to the Chef. Upon learning that we were here to celebrate my wife’s birthday, they pleasantly surprised us by serving Moong Dal Halwa, nicely decorated with a candle and a ‘Happy Birthday’ message. They played the birthday song too!
They made our celebration memorable. We would definitely visit again for some more good food.

Chicken tikka was medium spicy but well roasted
We loved the dal makhani and chicken Changezi is chef’s kiss.. plus pair it with folded naan❤️

We ordered the Ram Ladoo, Chole Bhature, Amritsari Kulcha with Chole, and Sweet Lassi, and everything was phenomenal and outstanding. The Ram Ladoo tasted just like the ones you find in India, maybe even better. The Chole Bhature were perfectly cooked, not oily at all, and the chole were extremely flavourful. The Amritsari Kulche were excellent and packed with flavour, and the potato filling inside was noticeably better than what I have had in the past.
The lassi was top tier. It was nice and thick, perfectly sweet, and very satisfying overall. It did not arrive cold, but that was not an issue since we had ice.
The atmosphere and ambience are pleasant, the washroom looks clean and well maintained, and the service is fast with kind and attentive staff. Kudos to Simran for the great service.
