The food was authentic and absolutely delicious. The owner and the service were next level. We ended up taking three different orders to go so we can chow down later on that scrumptious Nepali cuisine. We will be here for another four days and we will absolutely 100% be back to eat again. Warm and inviting place , the food is outstanding I like to try new things each time I visit and I have never been disappointed. The proprietors are very friendly and engaging. Before you dismiss the words “local chain,” hear me out—this place feels anything but ordinary. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit: strings of peppers and lemons hang overhead, intricate photo art lines the walls, and an elaborate tapestry ties the whole space together. It’s warm, inviting, and full of personality.
As for the food—outstanding. They were out of goat the day I visited, so I went with the lamb biryani (spice level 4), and it was absolutely delicious. Flavorful, perfectly spiced, and deeply satisfying.
But the real highlight wasn’t just the food—it was the people. I had the honor of dining with Baswant, the owner, who sat down with me over tea and even gave me a little tour of the block. He’s kind, generous, and wonderfully gregarious. His wife and cousin, who were also working that day, made every guest feel like family. Sharing that meal with them was easily the highlight of my month.
As a bonus, Baswant told me about Button Rock trailhead, a hike I hadn’t yet discovered. Great food, amazing people, and even a new adventure to look forward to—what more could you ask for?
If you want not just a meal but an experience, this is the place.

My husband and I ate lunch here and it was amazing! We ordered samosas, tiki masala and malai kofta. That was our first time trying malai kofta and I would go back in a heartbeat for it! We also loved the samosas (seriously as good as I remember them being in India). We live in Denver and have a favorite Indian spot and this spot is a high contender! Definitely recommend. The owner is very friendly and inquisitive.

I love Indian Bites! The atmosphere is always peaceful, the food is always fantastic and the owners are so link. I love their butter chicken and garlic naan. Their chai tea is also worth noting! They use hand ground spices a you can tell! It’s absolutely delicious.

SO good. The Chicken Tikka Masala is the best I’ve ever had! Generous quantity of large, tender chunks of breast. Spectacular flavors. Everyone loves every dish. And the staff are absolutely lovely. We are so fortunate to have such a great restaurant in Lyons.
UPDATE: just got home from another spectacular meal. This time, Biswant recommended that I try something other than the Tikka Masala. I was hesitant because I thought there was nowhere to go but down. I was wrong! The Chicken Masala is absolutely extraordinary.
