Not bad… Generally do a place in Tacoma on 6th Ave, but drove by this place one day and it caught my eye. The reviews being good made it a promising place to dine. Food was decent and in a pinch (aka needing an Indian food fix) I’d probably come back. Order was Chicken Tikka Masala (butter chicken) and Tandoor Chicken Tikka. Wait was about average, though seemed long for a nearly empty restaurant (Sunday 5:30). My guess the Tandoor took longer. Ordered extra rice since the Tandoor didn’t come with rice. Also ordered 2 plain Nan, which came out late, but was so hot you could barely hold it since it was right out of the oven. Tasted very good and I burrito’d my butter chicken in them with rice. Service felt disjointed a little – cook delivered entrees and server with the late Nan. Nice place and ppl. Total bill was $53 and change with a single can of Pepsi.

We have been back to Indian Bite four times and found consistency each experience. Took my daughter who is very particular about taste/flavor of Indian food and she thought this one of the top places she’s had in WA.
Service has always been great, very welcoming each visit, kind and communicative, water checked, and checking in to ensure satisfaction.
What I like most is mains do not come out fast like other restaurants which means a little more time is spent preparing than slopping together from a buffet tray.
Food flavors are delicious and distinguishable from each other.
Naan is baked right that nice char that is still soft and puffy

As of this review, they’ve only been open about 6 weeks, so they’re still working out their dine-in situation. Mainly, just building their brand awareness enough to get more dine-in customers, necessitating more dining staff. I hope they’re successful with this. Because THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE. BEST. INDIAN. FOOD.
EVER!! At least in my experience. I’m not Indian, nor do I consider myself an expert, but I’ve eaten at dozens of Indian restaurants across the US and Europe and this was the best I’ve had. I was with 3 other people who agreed. We all tried each other’s dishes and each were amazing. I think they’re staying pretty busy with take-out, but they have plenty of dining space. They also stay open a little later so if you’re hungry after an evening event, it’s a great option. I will be frequenting this place and craving it in between visits. If I could give the food 6 stars, I would. I particularly recommend the Butter Chicken and the garlic naan. BTW, the portions are a very fair size, providing good value.

Update: We ordered for pickup and I thought it was unfortunate that the online menu doesn’t have the pictures of the dishes like their dine-in menu does, so I took pictures. Hopefully this is helpful.

I went to eat dinner the other at this fine establishment. The atmosphere is great, and the food was amazing. I particularly enjoyed their butter chicken. It was creamy and delisious.

We enjoyed the dahi puri, paneer pasanda, and chicken banjara! They have a nice combo of dishes you usually encounter like butter chicken and biryani, and masala – and dishes I hadn’t encountered before, like the ones we ordered. The dishes we chose had mild flavor profiles that were nicely balanced!

I can see why other reviewers commented on the service – it’s at a different pace than other restaurants. I think this place will be golden once they find a nice front of house person! The food is tasty, the inside is clean and nicely decorated, and the staff are kind.

To me, I think it’d be nice if they played some music in the background!

Ordered Uber Eats from here for lunch and today because there was a buy 1 get one free deal. So we ordered 2 butter chicken a garlic naan and samosa, everything was tasting good until I found a Roach in the butter chicken, we lost our appetite and threw everything away, Uber Eats refunded only half of what we spent.

Giving this place 3 stars because service is not good, but the food was delicious. I’ll likely try it again as to go. Here’s my experience.
My wife and I went in for dinner on Sunday night around 6 pm. We stood at the front for less than a minute and were told from away that they would be with us in two minutes. They then sat us down but the person who sat us down had to unload ingredients and supplies from a truck. That’s ok but he kept unloading even after he knew we were ready to order. On top of that there was 3 other people working that didn’t help him. One guy was wearing a hoodie and slides and acted like the “tech” trying to fix a phone and walking around wearing flip flops. He didn’t even help a customer that was standing in front of him for two minutes. There was an old man walking around just watching instead of helping. When our food arrived it didn’t come rice. Which they were making so we had to wait 2 minutes. Which by the way they didn’t pick up the menus after we ordered, which to me is a signal of the lack of basic restaurant training. Overall, the experience was not good and not fast. I would highly recommend you reconsider this place if you’re looking for a quick bites since it’s not fast.

We visited when they were a little short-staffed, so the service took a bit longer than usual. But honestly, it was absolutely worth the wait. The lady serving us worked really hard to make sure we were taken care of, and she did a great job.
I live in Marysville, so it’s not exactly close, but I would happily make the trip again just to enjoy their food. Highly recommend!

I went twice this week! After we went the first time the very best day we had to go back. I ordered the butter chicken and chicken Tikka (Tandoori). Everything was delicious and fresh. I suggest you go with time because the preparation takes a bit but like I mentioned that flavor is worth it!
