Quiet atmosphere. Good menus with clearly labeled sections for vegetarian and vegan entrees. Food was excellent, and server/cashier recommendations were delicious. Had garlic naan, palak paneer, dal, rice, and mango lassi (4 oz maybe), all authentic and delicious. I ordered my palak paneer mild, glad I did, it was still on the border of my ability to enjoy spicy food, but I know I do not handle spicy foods well. Glad I had the mango lassi to tame the spice
Love the fancy bottle of water they brought to the table so we could refill our own glasses.

Grabbed some takeout and it was just so great! Newly discovered and will for sure be back! We had cauliflower appetizer and it was delicious and crunchy. Chicken masala tender. Mint chutney get extra because you’ll want to eat it with a spoon it’s so good! Samosas were light and crunchy.
We’re so excited to have this in our new rotation of takeout of beach spots! Well done. One man crew and just be patient because it’s so worth it! Quality, flavor!

Indian Bistro located at Saint Peter’s Beach at 4785 Gulf Blvd Florida. Chafe Mr. Khan is very talented creating culinary expert. He prepared samosa, onion pakoda and potatoes vada with chutney very great. Main entrees of paneer masala and palak paneer, well prepared. The chafe was courageous and the service was excellent.
I would highly recommend to try this Indian Bristrio. By the way we like the food so much that we draw 25 miles again two days later to eat again before we go home to Chicago.

Chef Khan was very friendly and helpful explaining the menu. The food came out piping hot and delicious, as we did not know what to expect. Not being familiar with Indian cuisine we all ordered a chicken dish~more delicious than anticipated. We will return and try something a little more challenging. Thank you Chef Khan for the flavorful food and nice chat.

We recently went to this place. The food was authentic and really tasty, both appetizers and entrees. The chef took note of all our requests with spice level and really served everything yummy!
The service was a bit slow because of limited staff. But considerate to time our arrival appointment accordingly and bring our kids food first and fast! We really enjoyed.

I am writing this review primarily to warn people that we found foreign objects throughout our meal and two separate entirely different dishes. We began choking. The meal was inedible, but we started off thinking that maybe this was from an herb being used or maybe the skin off of a vegetable as it was getting stuck in our teeth, and in our mouths and in our throats. We were able to take these pieces and look at them closely to better understand what these things were or what it was from.
I just want to say that I am a lover and long time connoisseur of Indian food. I grew up in Queens, New York for 30 years and I’ve spent the last 10 years looking for good Indian food in the state of Florida. I have found some great Indian food here, but it is not this place.
I continued to pick through the food and found these hard fibers throughout the meals and trying to break them with your fingernails, it wasn’t always possible and definitely not on the first try. These are very strong fibers not organic material. It honestly feels like it could be an old rice bag that has began to disintegrate because immediately their rice felt old and stale or maybe just cooked improperly and left to sit there? As I was cleaning up I found a fiber that was not in the food and it seems like a white fiber out rice bag. In either event, there’s a huge problem in their kitchen and everyone needs to know about it because they need to fix it. This is an absolute choking hazard and who knows what because this is foreign objects, inorganic material, that we were eating.
Specifically, we got the chicken tikka, which is an extraordinarily popular dish so I can’t imagine how many people were actually affected by this and the chana masala.
I ordered through DoorDash and when I arrived to the restaurant an hour before they were due to close, the doors were locked. I had to really knock loudly for the man inside to hear me. I’m not too sure what the problem is there, but that was no bother.
I would recommend not going here. I am staying at a resort on the beach and was just looking for some great Indian food, close by, for my birthday. I was super excited to find this place, but I couldn’t be more disappointed in how it ended waking up the following morning and still feeling like something is in my throat.

The Indian Bistro is our new favorite Indian food restaurant! Located in a strip mall just off of Gulf Boulevard in St. Pete, this small scale place is serving up BIG flavors! We were fortunate enough to have the sweetest Irish server and were also blessed to meet the 25 year old chef. We were astonished that someone so young was creating dishes with that much flavor and authenticity. Meeting this young passionate chef was the perfect way to end our wonderful meal!

Our order: My husband ordered the Chicken Tika Masala and I ordered the Butter Paneer Masala – both served with a huge family style bowl of rice. We also ordered the Papadums with chutney as an appetizer and the garlic naan.. a MUST with every meal! The dishes were rich with complex and layered flavors that hit every flavor mark. The naan with butter, garlic and parsley was the best we’ve ever had! The Papadums were cooked in the tandoori oven and were a delicious texture, but different from the traditionally fried Papadums. The portions were large enough to make 2 meals for both of us, so we thoroughly enjoyed our leftovers the next day!

We absolutely recommend this restaurant and we both left astonished that we just ate the best Indian meals of our lives. We will 10000% be back soon as the customer service was as fabulous as our food. Wear light clothing as they don’t use the air conditioner and get that Garlic Naan so you can thank me later!

This is a great little Indian place out on St. Pete Beach! the food is extremely rich, flavorful and tasty. Lots of options to choose from to suit any palate. The Rogan Josh, Butter Masala, and of course Naan bread are some favorites. The samosas are great also. The dinner portions are generous. You won’t leave hungry.

It was Christmas Eve and the kids wanted Chick Fil A. So glad they were closed. I drove across the parking lot and saw Indian Bistro was open. Not only was the gentlemen helping me a delight, it was some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The portions were huge, therefore I ordered too much. It was so delicious I ate more than I did at Thanksgiving this year. Definitely coming back next time we are in town!!
