This has been the best Indian food in all my tastings of all my life ( 60 years later ) . I went to at least 30 Indian restaurants in Canada. This is NUMBER 1. Very authentic taste as the restaurant title says !

Honest Review. We are visiting from out of town and went here tonight because it was right across from our hotel, convenient, and we were tired. The restaurant was completely empty. The waiter seemed nervous and maybe didn’t know much English. It took a long time before our order was taken. There was music playing but it ended and then we just sat there in silence. Eventually the food came out and it was SOOO GOOD. The dal was spicy (I asked for spicy, and it was SPICY!) and creamy and buttery. The naan was thin and savory and perfect. The paneer pakoda was creamy and the batter was the perfect texture. The waiter was very sweet and appreciative. This place is a must try. Enjoy the experience and the delicious cuisine.

Firstly I am writing this with honesty and not just to give a bad review. If you are reading this like how we did other reviews before coming here, be warned. This place is not offering what you think is authentic food. 3 of us arrived and ordered palak paneer and chilli gobi with plain naan’s. Upon initial thoughts of the menu the items are way too over priced. On top of that we had no other food option as it was late so ended up ordering and were told that it would take 30 minutes for our order. Several other people entering the store were also told 30 minutes which doesn’t make sense when the food is not good. The restaurant was not busy either. The palak paneer gravy was really processed and watery, it had heaps of oil floating which is really unhealthy, the taste was bland and had a chemically after taste which is not normal. The second was the chilli gobi. This tasted bland also and looked and tasted like it was fried multiple times with the gobi mushy. The naan’s were the only good thing with no complaints but the food is really disappointing. I am speechless and not trying to be a party pooper.

After a day of hiking, this place really hit the spot. We had the Hot & Sour Soup, Aloo Gobi, and the best garlic naan I’ve ever had. I appreciated the good vegetarian options, and everything was tasty. The server was friendly and welcoming. The location isn’t much, but the food and service make it worth a visit.

We ordered butter chicken, and also fish masala base on recommendation, both are very good!! Portion wise is large for me and my partner, we are very satisfied!! Service was excellent, staff is very helpful and nice. And the view of the restaurant, sweet!! Highly recommended!!
