If you’re looking for a real Indian food spot, this is the one. The food is honestly so good — full of flavor and clearly made with care. The service is great too; everyone is very kind and welcoming. They also have a wide variety of packaged Indian products and pantry staples, which makes it even better. I highly recommend it

We ordered catering from here and every single thing we ordered was absolutely incredible! Everyone at the party was raving about how delicious the food was. The owner was so kind and helpful to work. He made us feel welcome immediately and I could see he wants to create an excellent customer experience for each person who walks into the store. And, the samosas and tikkis we got were clearly freshly made and so, so good. Highly recommend catering from this spot (or just stopping by for a samosa- it’s worth it!)

Beware of stale and low quality samosa. Got two curries and samosa. Curry were okay, not super great but not bad. Samosa takes the award — it was stale inside and probably gone bad from yesterday and instead of throwing them, they warmed it and served. It was take out so I had no way to return it but it is unethical to serve food that had gone bad. Avoid fries from counter top here. Other food or curries okay.

I have been coming here for years. The food is always fresh and delicious and the owner is extremely kind. I wish I lived on this side of town so I could indulges often but anytime I’m passing through I make sure to come and grab a plate! My favs are the lentils and Channa masala but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu (and they’ll even let you sample first)!

Sigh. Disappointed to walk out of a shop that smacks you with the smell of delicious spices, only to find that none were used in the food. Only in LA would food like this get good ratings. If you’ve ever had Indian food in any town anywhere else in the US or the world, this will not satisfy your craving. Bland and watery. The shop itself is lovely.

Lovely service and delicious food. My girlfriend said she has been coming for years and I can see why. The quality of food and service was top notch and will definitely return and recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a good meal and a good time.

Small local business that needs to be experienced! This unassuming location in the heart of Culver city is packed with food and has a friendly atmosphere that will want you to come back!
This store sells everything needed to fill your cupboards with Indian spices and products. But the lure to this place is the all vegetarian food. A great selection of hot and cold Indian street food items that are both savoury and sweet is as authentic to India as you can get. The owners are friendly can’t walk away without having a smile on your face. Their hot chai is a must along with their mango lassi. Everything is freshly made bursting with flavour. This store has the regulars that know their favourites by heart and will make you want to add this place to your favourites as well.

Everything so yummy!! I don’t understand how they have 4.3 reviews when it should be 5 stars! Filling and flavorful. Everything was done well! Lentils and garbanzos were soft in texture! Will come back!

Really great little shop with a ton of ingredients for any indian cooking you can imagine! I got some pomegranate molasses for a persian dish too. These spices are gonna be much cheaper than buying from american grocers like ralphs/smart and final.
Food is great as well. Samosas are large, $1.99 each, and mango lassi is easily a hit. Going to try more dishes next time! The folks who run the store are super kind and funny too thanks!!
