Listen, I’ll be honest. I was really intrigued to try Indian food earlier last week. India oven is by far the best. I first tried Indian food for the first time last week and now I’m addicted. I first decided to try Indian food at Saffron Indian cuisine in Bowling Green, but I didn’t stop there. I decided to give India Oven a try. Don’t get me wrong both places are good, but only one can be great. India oven is the winner here. I’ve tried many things at each place. In just this past week, I’ve been trying to decide which place truly deserves my business. At India Oven and Saffron, I have dined in, I have DoorDashed, and India Oven, it never misses. The staff is so friendly. The food is so inviting literally the best food I’ve ever had. Thank you India Oven, I love you!!

We stopped by hoping to enjoy some good Indian food, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. We ordered onion pakoda, gobi manchurian, stuffed onion kulcha and couple other things. The onion pakoda served to us appeared to be from the buffet, lacked salt, and was completely different from what we have had here before. The staff informed us that the stuffed onion kulcha would be similar to an aloo paratha, but that was not the case. The gobi manchurian tasted more like it was coated in ketchup rather than the usual manchurian flavor. Additionally, the stuffing in the onion kulcha did not match what was explained to us and was not prepared well. The only item we genuinely enjoyed was the samosa. Due to the overall experience and the lack of anyone available to address our concerns, we decided to pack the food and leave.

6 star food really. I obviously have my go-to meals (previously butter chicken + garlic naan, but now mango chicken + garlic naan), so your mileage may vary, but my wife and I agree that there are few meals that are better. Also, when considering the price, note that India Oven gives you enough food for two meals (depending on the person). Either way, they are very nice people and you won’t leave hungry. The combination of garlic naan dipped into butter chicken curry sauce is honestly probably the most flavor packed bite of food that you could create. Their tea is not good lol.

What a comeback! The buffet is a bang— delicious flavors, great variety, and all at an affordable price. Great options to the vegetarian as well. Definitely coming back every week!

If you’re unsure about Indian cuisine and don’t know what to order, you’re in luck! They’re now serving a lunch buffet! You can sample many things and decide which ones are your favorite! The butter chicken, different rices, chutneys, curry chicken! It was sooo good! And don’t even get me started on the desserts! Definitely coming back.

Really a great Indian restaurant in BG that gives you great food at a fair price and the portions are good as well. The wait time is never very long and the food is served quick and fresh; definitely recommend the chicken curry and chicken tikka masala both are delicious. However on this visit the tandoori chicken was a solid choice as well.

One of my favorite places to eat. THE BEST Indian food I have ever had. The have mild options for those who dont want to sweat while you eat. Surprisingly crisp and delicious water. Very friendly servers. Great for a group, a couple or by yourself. Incredible bang for your buck!

Everything we had was delicious! We enjoyed the vegetarian and chicken buffet dishes. The bufget options were clearly labeled. And the chai tea was excellent, not too sweet.

I recently just moved to Bowling Green and was looking for a new Indian restaurant to favor. I definitely found it here at India Oven. Speedy service despite how busy they were, friendly staff, and absolutely delicious food!
Took the girlfriend here and I got the chicken vindaloo in hot, she got the mango chicken in hot and we shared some garlic naan. Everything was delicious and since it was our first time here, we tested the waters with “hot”. The next time we will definitely be trying “India hot”.
I also want to try their lunch buffet at some point as well. So far everything seems reasonably priced for the amount of food one gets.
