Wow! Everything is very delicious here. The lamb curry was so yummy and the rice was fluffy and tasty. I especially enjoyed the tandoori chicken with salad and raita. Gary was very friendly, welcoming, and professional. My sister and I enjoyed dining here multiple times. Always a great experience.

India Oven in Auburn absolutely deserves all five stars! The portions are huge—come hungry or plan to take some home. Every dish bursts with authentic flavor, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. Service is fast, attentive, and genuinely warm. It’s the kind of place where you feel cared for from the first bite to the last naan. Definitely my go-to for Indian food in Auburn!

For overall flavor and recipes, I prefer the Grass Valley location, especially the improvements they’ve made the past couple months. However, I do love the fact the Auburn location has a buffet, and doesn’t seem to close between lunch and dinner. The food was enjoyable as well. We ordered the vindaloo and the creamy chicken. I’ll be back.

Absolutely phenomenal food. Not only did they save my partner’s and my Christmas Eve after the Panda Express across the way locked the doors in our faces, but they served phenomenal traditional Indian food. Both the Coconut Chicken Curry and the Mango Chicken were absolutely incredibly delicious and they came with complementary Basmati Rice and huge portions. 10/10 would eat here again. My partner and I are so excited to eat our leftovers! We absolutely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for some delicious traditional Indian food 🙂

I found my new favorite restaurant! Warm and inviting environment. Love the service, very personable. We had their lunch buffet. They had a wide variety to choose from. My favorite was the fried fish, deep fried broccoli, and fresh chunks of pineapple. They also served a chicken masala. Everything was amazing.. I left the restaurant feeling refreshed and energized for my day. #HealthyEating.

Took my family here to try a new Indian restaurant in town.
I’ve eaten a lot of Indian; from So Cal, to England, to the Bay Area.
This was remarkable quality.
Food was very fresh, the flavors were defined, outstanding and remarkable, service was fast and polite, pricing was extremely reasonable, especially considering the high quality.
If you haven’t tried them yet, you should make it a point specifically.
They also take phone orders.
10/10 we will be having another meal from here in the next 30 days.

The food is great, the service is polite and professional, and the decor is very nice.
I have only 2 complaints. The music is nice and pleasant to listen to but there were occasional ads playing and that takes away from the nice ambiance.
Also, you have to get rid of the ringing phone. I’m getting my food Togo if that phone is ringing next time I’m in there. The waiter does try to answer it quickly, but maybe instead he should keep it on his hip.
However, I still give Indian Oven 5 stars and will definitely be back because the food and service are so good. Even with these complaints, I still recommend this place. You will not disappointed.

Just ordered Chicken Tikka Masala…. 80% sauce…. VERY LITTLE CHCKEN for $18!!!!! This place is such a huge disappointment. Their Roseville location was always pretty good, Grass Valley too… but the Auburn location is incredibly inconsistent…. the Tandoori chicken I ordered last night was incredibly dry and flavorless, the Aloo Gobi was also lacking taste and the vegetables were barely chopped… just huge chucks of boring flavorless cauliflower…. Royal Indian downtown is WAY better…….. such a shame. Tried it again, against my better judgement. SHOULD NOT HAVE. TamestVindaloo in America.

We love this place soo much. The food is always AMAZING and the service is fantastic as well. I never feel like they’re put out when I ask for things and have never had bad service. We usually get dinner which is delicious and today we wanted to try the buffet and it was soo good too. We love it here!
