The atmosphere was very laid back & the place is great for large groups of 10+ people or more. The food was very tasty & even had truly spicy options if you so desire, which I thought was great. The prices were fair. My only gripe was the fact that the food does take a bit longer to arrive, however, when you realize they make the food from scratch & the amount of people they are trying to make food for, the wait time for tasty home style dishes is expected & worth it, in my opinion. Regardless, overall I enjoyed my experience & will definitely be coming back.

If you ever travel to San Antonio I recommend you all to go to this restaurant. They have buffet specials that has vegetarian and non vegetarian options and the food is delicious. We only ate starters and we were so full. The restaurant brings the feeling of being in India. The decor is just so beautiful to describe. Every single items are unique in its own way. I love the atmosphere and all the staffs were very welcoming and attentive. This place is a gem and everyone visiting San Antonio must go.

We had Indian food at India Oven, and the goat biryani was absolutely delicious—rich in flavor and perfectly cooked. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. The service was excellent as well; our server was attentive, friendly, and made the dining experience even better. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving great Indian food ❤️

Used to drive here monthly from Austin for the sole purpose of eating good restaurant Indian food – nothing in Austin compares (until I later discovered Bayleaf but I digress).
Naan is fantastic and fresh and all the curries I’ve tried have been hits !

Amazing experience! The staff is wonderful, kind, and attentive. The food is next level. I’ve been to the buffet several times, which is great, but wow the dinner is even better. We enjoyed the fried cauliflower appetizer- Gobi Manchurian so much!! Who knew, a veggie would taste so good. Definitely a must have! Also, ordered the tandoori chicken, biryani, Garlic Nan, and paneer! Topped it all off with an Indian lager and sparking wine! You must try this place for dinner. You won’t regret it!

San Antonio’s best spot for Indian. While everything on their menu is worth trying, some of our favorites are their chicken korma, aloo gobi and chana masala. Ne never skip the samosas and garlic naan. India Oven does not disappoint!

If you’re looking for authentic Indian food this is the place for you! Everything we had was tasty, they even have vegetarian options. We were immediately greeted and seated. Our order came out at a good time also there was not much wait. Although waiters can be a bit more attentive, I Will definitely be coming back to try other dishes.

It was my first time trying Indian food and it was absolutely phenomenal!!! Two of the waiters were very friendly and helpful but the older man (possibly owner) was very rude. That is why I am giving it 4 stars. We still had about 20 minutes before closing time and they were all staring us down waiting for us to leave, which I understand but still. The chicken was cooked perfectly for all dishes and so was the lamb. The samosas were okay but very fresh and the cheese appetizer was pretty good too. Definitely try if you are in the area.
