We visit the India Market, Lake Elmo restaurant frequently to order our food. India Market has delicious food and great service. Some of their regular dishes like Authentic Biryanis and Vada Pav are mouth watering.
They also have a relishing spread of south asian snacks options.
The restaurant is located in Lake Elmo and has a nice seating arrangement for Dine In. Food price is reasonable to their portion sizes. I highly recommend “India Market” restaurant and grocery store to all!!

Came in for the Sunday chicken Biryani special. Delicious authentic Indian cuisine in the twin cities area. Try their wonderful home made chai tea after the meal. Highly recommended.

I liked service offered by the owner from the time my order was taken until I picked up.
I tried the chai, it was outstanding. The poori and masala was amazing. Order was made well.
What didn’t find me interested are:
Oily curries (not so much my thing)
Vijayawada special biriyani was only ok
Naan tasted dry and didn’t look like how naan’s look.
I think there is definitely potential for improvement and I will give it a try again because I will go back for puri masala.

I love Indian food, especially the chicken fried rice that I get from India market. It is so flavorful and satisfying, and it has a lot of chicken and veggies in it. The rice is cooked perfectly, not too dry or mushy, and it has a nice golden color from the soy sauce and spices. The chicken is tender and juicy, and it goes well with the crunchy carrots, green peas, and red bell peppers. The fried rice also has scrambled eggs, which add some protein and texture to the dish. The best part is the schezwan sauce, which gives the fried rice a spicy kick and a tangy flavor. I always ask for extra schezwan sauce when I order this dish. It is one of my favorite comfort foods, and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes Indian-Chinese cuisine.

I checked this place out because they were near by and i was looking for some mint chutney. They have a wonderful selections of Indian grocery. Decided to try their deli food and it was really delicious. Will be stopping more now that I know they’re so close to me.

Order wasn’t ready. They couldn’t find my order and scrambled to scrape up some food in 10 minutes. I spent almost 50 bucks on small portioned, dried out old food. Butter chicken was like gritty paste and spice was off. Nothing like the other times I ordered from here. The chicken tikka was especially terrible compared to previous orders. Nothing was goo quality.

Extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Pulav through DoorDash, but the restaurant apparently didn’t even have that item available. Instead of canceling the order or informing me, they just let it go through. This shows a complete lack of communication and professionalism. If you don’t have something on your menu, take it down or notify the customer—don’t just accept orders you can’t fulfill. It’s a waste of time and money. Definitely not ordering from here again.
