Delicious food and wonderful service! So many options to choose from on the menu! We ordered several takeout items and were treated to an appetizer of pakora while we waited. The order was prepared rather quickly and everyone was so nice. I’ve tried many Indian restaurants in the twin cities and this one is quite the hidden gem!! I can’t wait to go back!

I’m very disappointed with my experience at your restaurant. The chicken/meat served to me was clearly not fresh and tasted spoiled. Shortly after eating, I felt extremely nauseous and had to vomit. I later experienced severe stomach discomfort consistent with food poisoning.
Food safety is a basic expectation when dining out, and serving rotten meat is unacceptable and dangerous. This experience was not only unpleasant but also affected my health.
I strongly urge you to review your food storage, handling, and quality control processes to ensure this does not happen to other customers.

If you’re looking for a good Indian dining experience, this place should be on your list. The food is fresh and flavorful and the service is friendly and attentive.
I ordered the chicken coconut curry and garlic naan for lunch and both were excellent. The curry was smooth and creamy with warm spices, perfect for a cold winter day. The garlic naan was the best I’ve ever had. It arrived at my table warm with bits of garlic fried to the outside of the dough. Each chewy bite was soft and puffy and full of garlic flavor.
Also, if you like your food spicy like I do, they will accommodate. I ordered the Hot spice level and it had just the right amount of heat for me.

We ordered the Lamb Tikka Masala which was excellent! We had garlic naan and coconut naan which compliment the dish very well. I went with a medium spicy level and my wife went with mild. The next time we come here my wife is already saying she will try the next level up. This restaurant is rated high for good reasons and we are glad we chose to come here.

A very authentic experience indeed! My husband and I were on a date and chose Indian food for dinner. We were overwhelmed with the many options in Minneapolis, but for sure we wanted something authentic and casual. We’ve both had Indian food before, but a long time ago so don’t remember how the food tastes (aka it was like us trying Indian food for the first time again). Immediately when we got to the restaurant, I noticed that the interior was very “homey”. I wish I got our server’s name, but he was kind, patience, and attentive to us throughout the night.
Now, onto the food… it was PHENOMENAL! To start off, we got the lamb samosa which paired with the tamarind and green chutney… so good! For entrees, we got the garlic naan bread, Chicken Tikka Masala, Palak Panner, and Basmati Rice (comes with it). My favorite was definitely the chicken tikka masala! It was a good blend of spice in it and the chicken was tender. Can’t wait to go back again!

10/10 meal— highly recommend a visit to this new-ish spot! Seemingly family run, excellent service, fresh ingredients, and lots of flavor. Everything about this meal was exceptional and exceeded my high expectations.
The mango lassi was perhaps the best I’ve ever had. The samosas were so crispy and savory. The matar paneer was clearly made with love, and I loved the depth of flavor. Each dish appeared to be made some scratch with expert care.
My mom is a flight attendant, and she has consistently flown to India for over 10 years. She was blown away by the food. Best Indian food I’ve had in Minneapolis. I can’t wait to return soon. It’s going to become my go-to Indian spot.

We had a wonderful experience at India Kutir. This was the best Indian food I have had. I had the Salmon Tikka Masala my husband had the lamb Vindaloo. We also had some appetizers and garlic naan with our meals. This was the first time to try salmon in the tikka masala and it was amazing! The salmon was perfectly cooked and was complimented by the sauce. The vegetable pakora had a perfectly flaky and delicious crust the inside was full of spiced potatoes and peas. I cannot say enough good things about this place! It’s unfortunate that I am 2 hours away.

RUN, don’t walk to India Kutir!
I knew upon walking in based on the lovely aroma of the restaurant that I was in for a treat. Great service and a patient waiter who put up with an indecisive group. Absolutely loved the veggie samosas, the garlic and cheese naan, and the palak paneer (I got medium but would go spicier next time). The rose lassi wasn’t my favorite, but mainly it was just a bit sweet for my taste. Mango lassi was divine. This may become an issue for me, because I think I may have to work through the whole menu now.

The best India food I’ve had!! The family who owns the restaurant is so nice and accommodating and even brought us a birthday treat since it was a birthday celebration. The curry is our favorite and is so flavorful.
