This is the best Indian Buffet in Reno. There used to be others, but they all closed. The only drawback of this place is the parking. It’s a little parking lot in back and it’s kinda tight, you might be better off just parking on the street.

The buffet is $17.99 now plus tax and tip comes out to a little over $20 per person. They start the buffet at 11 am, so that’s the best time to get here before the food is all pawed over. It the hottest food too. I love that tandoori chicken like some other people. I do see they use mostly thighs. If you’re one of those people that doesn’t like bones and only wants white meat chicken … well, too bad, that’s what tandoori is.

All the other food is good here too. You can have all the garlic or plain naan you like, they bring you one basket, but you can get refills if you want. Nice place for lunch!

If you’re looking for the best Indian lunch buffet here in Reno, this is the place! India Kabab and Curry, has the best buffet for lunch, and now I think the only Indian Buffet for lunch in Reno. There were several other Indian Buffets over the years but they have all stopped and only serve Ala carte.

For me, I love the buffet style and the all you can eat option. It’s well worth it, compared to ordering Ala carte. My fave Indian entree’ is the Tandoori Chicken. They use the drumsticks and thighs here, not like some buffets I’ve been to where it’s just all the scrap pieces, like the backs and rib pieces and they saved all the good pieces for the Ala carte orders of tandoori chicken. Also I love the tikka masala served over that light tasty basmati rice. You get naan , garlic or plain buttered, included in the buffet. The price for the buffet is around $16 bucks … such a deal!

Service is pleasant, not super friendly, but they get the job done, and that’s really all you want. I’ll come back here for lunch for sure. Parking is a bit tight, there’s a smallish lot in back and you just have to walk around the building.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Reno for years now! I also love the new floors and paint they recently put in. My favorite dish is the mushroom tikka masala (found when I was pregnant and couldn’t stand any form of meat). I love so many of their dishes, from their murg chicken curry, chicken tikka masala, and so many others. I enjoy their buffet line for lunch on the weekends and its definitely worth it to splurge on from time to time. Whether carry out or eating in, its always good.

This is the BEST indian restaurant in Town!!! Been going for years! For newbies~ try the Chicken Tikka Masala and Shahi Navratan Korma! Worth every penny!
They also have a lunch buffet with all sorts of dishes.
Some is too exotic for me~ but those two dishes I mention are literally my favorite restaurant dishes in entire city! (Reno)
Pictures are takeout.

I loved my experience here from the very beginning! The most important part of any experience for me is the customer service and the customer experience. I entered with my mom and we were seated immediately and taken care of. We had two people assisting us directly and while the lady seemed shy (still friendly), the man that assisted us wasn’t so. He joked around and made the experience more lively. The food was great also. I tried a few different things and everything I tried was great! His personality though…

Genuinely have loved this place since I was a teen and my family usually comes here like a treat or special occasion. Not saying you can’t dine here casually as it does get regular foot traffic and has an interesting view being opposite a stop light so watching the cars come and go is actually appealing.

My partner got the buffet which I recommend for first timers to the restaurant, you’ll get a wide variety of veggies and popular dishes there and it gives you an opportunity to really sample the menu. I however got an ordered dish which from the pictures you can tell are served beautifully.

Murg Tikka Marsala:
Comes with rice and is also usually at the buffet. I like the portion sizes of the menu ordered item if you’re someone like me and can’t portion yourself correctly and especially don’t want to waste food. This dish was a bit tangy and creamy and the chicken was cooked great. I usually eat this like you would tortillas and rice and so usually use my hands. I recommend building your bite and always order the garlic naan bread to go with it and in general really, I ordered two.

Mango Lassi:
Yes a special description just for this, if you haven’t tried it, order it, it’s a tall bright orange drink that tastes of yogurt and mango and is a perfect balance for the strong flavors of the food. It’s a bit sweet and tangy and cold.

Always enjoy the AYCE Indian buffet here. The service has also always been very good. The menu and buffet selection offers a nice mix of traditional dishes with some variety. Everything we’ve tried has been flavorful and consistent — enough to keep us coming back again and again.

Five Stars is not enough for this place. If you could pick one spot to have lunch or dinner this is it. A must have. Not only is the food amazing but the staff, atmosphere, simply everything here is hands down the best. The picture don’t quite do justice here but can explain the night we had here. Plus dessert was so good we didn’t even have a picture cause it was so, so good. We will be going back and back and back again. Thank you for the world class service and amazing food.

Decor and Ambience was good with lot of Pichwai paintings.
Most of the waiting staff were nice except the guy that takes the order, he seems to be annoyed most of the time. I thought it was with me and then I saw he is the same with everyone 🙁
I ordered veg pakora and chicken biriyani. Veg pakora was good and the Briyani was not good. A good Briyani should have the the spices blended with the onion and tomato baste and it should be infused into the rice by the “dum” process. This is more like a fried rice. So I don’t recommend it.
Their price and portion size was good and I liked that.
Maybe I should try naan and butter chicken masala
