Delicious meal!
We enjoyed the dinner buffet at India House during our New Mexico trip! The interior design was elegant and had a pleasant atmosphere. Their service was excellent; the staff were helpful and attentive. The buffet offered such a wide variety of fresh, delicious and flavorful food that we struggled to limit our choices. Both vegetarians and non-vegetarians can choose from an extensive selection of North-Indian buffet dishes here. I actually prefer their vegetarian options over their meat-based ones. Chana Saag, Aloo Bell Pepper and Dal Makhani were fabulous. I would recommend going here.

Loved the ambience at this place with delicate lighting and soft Hindi music tunes.
The dinner buffet was quite good, all the food was fresh and curries were rich in flavor. Onion pakoras were delicious. And my favorite dessert was the mango pudding
The buffet area is small so chances of bumping into someone are high. The buffet was also quite expensive compared to standard rates, charged at $30 per person.

On our New Mexico trip from Dallas, we were hunting for great Indian food and India House delivered big time. We went for the buffet and loved how fresh everything was—flavors were bold without being heavy, and trays were refilled quickly. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the whole space felt clean and comfortable. After a lot of road-trip meals, this was the standout. Easily the best restaurant we found on our trip. We’ll plan our next stop around eating here again!

I’m from Dallas and have been to plenty of restaurants there, but nothing compares to the experience I had at Indian House in Santa Fe. The food was absolutely delicious—bursting with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. I’ve never experienced Indian food quite like this before.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. Every dish we ordered was rich in taste and beautifully presented. You can really tell they care about quality and authenticity.

Great taste of India in the midst of all the Southwestern options in town. The Sunday buffet was fully replenished and very inviting, even an hour before closing, and it really hit the spot for me. The standouts were the “Ma ki Daal,” “Saag,” and “Rasmalai,” all of which were delicious.
The only thing that missed the mark a bit was the pulao rice with peas, which could have been a touch more tender. Overall, though, it was a very satisfying meal and I would happily come back.

Our favorite place for Indian food in Santa Fe. My favorite dishes are the butter chicken, the curried okra, the samosa chaat, and the malai kofta. The naan is great, too. Each dish tastes unique and delicious. It’s such a treat when we get it.
The restaurant is also very child friendly – we have always felt so welcome (with a baby or with a toddler). The servers are very nice and professional, and the environment is nice.
I only wish it was a little cheaper so I could justify going more often.

India House is top notch and always makes me happy! typically do takeout but when we have friends in town we dine in the restaurant. The food is delicious and fairly priced and the level of service when you dine in, is tops in town. Local’s place that’s always a hit, and the whole team is so freaking nice! Oh and there’s plenty of free, onsite parking!

Everything was spot on. Celebrated my birthday here and they didnt hesitate to throw in something special and sing for me as well. We enjoyed the mix tandoori grill, lamb curry, rice with peas, cheese naan, and the appetizer combo. So much food, but all absolutely delicious.

Absolutely love this place! We go for the buffet sometimes and it’s wonderful. I love the selection and I always eat way to much.
The staff is super friendly and very attentive. I love the atmosphere too. Very clean place.
