My bestie and I eat here a few times per year and are always happy with our experiences! Great service, great food, reasonable prices. Our faves include Tandoori Chicken Tikka, Vegetable Butter Masala, and Garlic Naan. Easy parking, too!

Friday buffet! I like everything but I need to call out the butter chicken. I’m picky. But theirs is great! Chicken ofc is in a sauce. But it’s not dry! So e places have dry chicken. This place has awesome chicken!

Sauces are great. Rice very good. Veggie dishes good. Chili chicken very nice. Not too spicy. Desserts look nice but I can’t have any 🙁

Seating is comfortable. Music nice. Decor nice. Chill ambiance. Excellent break from regular life. Staff is awesome. Very attentive and welcoming.

I have actually been coming here off and in for years. Idk why I haven’t reviewed until now. Apologies, this place is a gem.

I don’t know why it was so empty when we walked in! Tried this restaurant for the first time last week and it was wonderful! I ordered the chicken tikki masala and my partner ordered the lamb tikki masala, both came with endless sides of rice. The curries were so thiccc and rich in flavor! The Chicken was tender but the lamb was EXTRA tender, it basically melted in your mouth…so good. We also ordered garlic naan for under $5 and it was 4 GIANT sized naan, think of a costco pizza slice size. It was definitely one of the best naan i’ve tried, very soft and the perfect amount of garlic! We also got rose milk which neither of us had tried before, it was really good, the rose flavor was fragrant but not in an overwhelming way. The service was very welcoming and sat us right away, our server was so quick to bring water and drinks, then took our order as soon as we were ready! Our food came out within about 10 minutes. Throughout us dining he filled our water and checked in on us to make sure everything was well. The restaurant itself was very clean, and the mood lighting made it a very pleasant experience! 100% recommended going!

The food was very good and the service was excellent. I was so full when I left. I had the butter chicken and garlic Naan. The chicken was a perfect blend of sweet and spicy and the Naan was baked just right. I enjoyed the vibe of the place. It was a relaxing mood after a busy day at work.

Surprisingly some customers say this is the best indian food they ever tasted or ate. And other customers say this is the worst food they ever tasted or ate.

To be fair owner is friendly, welcoming, has good customer service.
His food is exactly buffet level quality.
It is not the best indian food, and at the same time not the worst.

If you know indian food. You know there is better quality indian food than this..
But If you are in the area , and hungry, and in the mood for indian food, and you are not picky, and it is buffet serving time, then come on in, and enjoy

His food will fill hungry group, if they can overlook so many deficiencies, and shortcomings.

But honestly this place can not be a destination for good indian food.

His buffet charge is decent& reasonable for all that indian food

This is the best Indian food in the state, and I love Indian food! Hot, fresh, flavorful. I love lamb curries and their Lamb Korma is my new favorite thing. Naan bread is perfect balance of chewy and crisp. Portions are enough to share or just make 2 meals out of it, which offsets the price. Service is great, super friendly and accommodating. Fully recommend!

I’ve been coming here for over four years. The food is delicious. My favorites are the chicken korma and the mango lassi. On some days, the mango lassi alone makes the visit worth it.

The vibe is great. I love the light strings on the walls. It feels warm and welcoming.

The customer service is exceptional. If you want to meet some of the happiest people in the state, come here. Being around the staff is inspiring.

It’s also kid friendly. There’s space for families, which I really appreciate.

Highly recommend. You’re missing out if you haven’t been here yet.

I’ve been coming to India Gate since 2006, and this place has never disappointed me. The food quality is consistently amazing — always fresh, flavorful, and made with authentic spices that bring out true Indian taste. Every dish, from appetizers to desserts, feels like it’s made with love and care.

The customer service is top-notch — the staff are friendly, attentive, and always make you feel welcome. They remember regular customers and go the extra mile to make sure you have a great dining experience every time.

After so many years, India Gate still remains my go-to restaurant for delicious Indian food. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys genuine flavors and warm hospitality!

DO NOT EAT HERE. WORST FOOD EVER. I went to their buffet on Saturday, and it was the worst food I’ve ever had in my life. Seriously, India Gate buffet is awful. If you’re thinking about going, just save your money and skip the extra calories from that garbage. Not a single thing tasted good. The tandoori chicken was dry and bland, and it wasn’t even warm. The chicken biryani had old, dried-up rice, like it was leftover from last week. Nothing tasted good at all. I hate to say it, but there wasn’t a single decent thing there. The gulab jamun and jalebi were the worst. They were cooked in old, burnt, black oil; the jalebi was more black than orange. I get that things are pricey, but if you’re charging $25 for food, at least make it fresh and decent. It was all chicken or veggies; NO fish, beef or lamb dish at all, not even one. I don’t know who eats there, but I’m NEVER going back. I’m so bummed that I’m even going to tell all my friends and famil I know to avoid India Gate renturant. They really need to fix their food quality. .

1 star is way to high for this place.
