Had the naan and chicken korma. Pretty good overall, with a comforting, homemade-style flavor. Personally, I prefer a slightly bolder, more traditional restaurant taste, but this was still enjoyable.

This is our new go-to favorite restaurant in the Durham Southpoint area. The welcome we received was genuine – the staff made us feel as if we were dining in their home. The food is excellent (some of the best Indian meals I have had, and I eat a good bit of Indian food). Plenty of vegetarian options. Perfectly spiced (medium is our preferred level), large portions, very well-priced, and they served it with care. The atmosphere is casual. The woman who served us appeared to be an owner, and told us that they had been in the Homestead Market shopping center (near Sprouts) for three years, after 12-years in RTP. We will be back again and again.

I don’t know much about Indian dishes but the lunch special had a little bit of everything and also has a vegetarian option. I expected a decent meal for the price and was surprised by how much better than simply decent it was. I’ll definitely be back

Went to the new location for lunch yesterday. If you frequented the old one, you’ll be comforted by the familiar atmosphere when you walk in, as the decor and music is very much the same. The service was lovely as always. They no longer do a lunch buffet but instead a lunch combo that has a little bit of everything. This platter is a LOT of food, a very good value at $14. They also offer a vegetarian version. Everything tasted amazing. We’ll be back!

Food:
Samosas (above average)
Daal Makhani (highly recommended)
Kadhai Paneer (pretty good)
Tandoori Roti (a bit too dry/crispy—should’ve been much more soft)
Service:
Owners are couple. Very nice folks, great attentive service.
Ambience:
Non-descript but clean and tidy
Overall:
I’m from San Francisco bay area where there are tons of great indian restaurants. We went here without any preconceived notions and were quite pleasantly surprised.
Highly recommended and definitely will come again

This was by far the best Indian food. The samosas were the most flavorful I’ve ever eaten, better than when I was in India. Every dish was delicious. This family owned and run restaurant is top notch. In our party we had a vegetarian and someone that has dairy and nut allergies; both had plenty of options on the menu and everything was clearly labeled for them. We will definitely be back!

This seems to be a mostly takeout restaurant, at least for dinner. Paneer pakora was fine, garlic naan was excellent, baingan bhartha was very tasty and just enough spice when ordered at the medium level.

We had a to-go three Biryani (2 veg, 1 chicken), and two Samosa. I usually don’t like to give negative reviews to anybody or any business because they might be working hard to make everything better. But this time it crossed my patience. While eating, I found Stapler pin (that metal pin). Can you believe it? The samosa amd biryani quality was not good; but this wouldn’t not be my concern anyway. And I am not giving my review based on not-testy.
