The earlier staff for india gate food caterer was amazing their chicken samosa’s were sooo good. With new staff it went down the drain they do alot of cost cutting the portion looks smaller i got non veg thali to go and they packed all curries in little sauce containers lol.. The frozen section of store has verryyyy old items i bought 3 ice creams and they were heavily covered in frost, its the same thing with every frozen food. The quality and service is just degrading every time i visit

Amazing food at great prices. The dosas are well priced, compared to sky rocketing prices in austin. You get a big dosa at $7 compared to $12 at sangam or drsiliciouse. Love their fresh punugulu, bonda, puff and mirchi bajji. We also ordered their dosa which came with a big bowl of yummy sambar. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. The taste is much better than other restaurants.

Usually go there with my kid my 7 year old love their samosa and I like their deshi tea. Conveniently located inside of Manpasand Indian market. The front desk attendant Chandan is friendly and helpful. There is a lot of variety of Indian dishes.

India Gate did an incredible job catering our wedding! It was the first they had ever done and they absolutely crushed it with food that was the talk of the night! Seriously, people were saying it was some of the best food they had ever had at a wedding! They came incredible prepared with their servers and more than enough food to feed everyone at the event. They were kind enough to pack up the food at the end of the night so we could bring it back home with us. We had a large menu of items including samosa, paneer tikka and pakoras at cocktail hour, and then paneer, malai kofta, aloo gobi, mixed veg, pulao, naan, gulab jamun at the reception. Everyone loved the food!!
I would absolutely recommend them just to drop by the restaurant or to cater your next event – they will definitely be the talk of the town!

I enjoy coming here to get food to-go! We usually get the idlis, dosa, and the chaats. It’s a good place to come get snacks after shopping around the grocery store it’s in (Manpasand). The prices are different than what the website says which I’ve attached their menu photos here. They no longer offer Thalis though- veg or non-veg – so that’s something that they haven’t taken off the menu. The people are nice and friendly. Yes the tables aren’t always clean but we don’t usually sit and eat here unless we are eating dosa. Usually asking the staff to clean it will do the trick.

Hi. I went to Manpasand grocery, and they have restaurant inside. I purchased Some Samosa, and the counter person told me the Samosa is freshly made. Then I said,Okay that’s good, So, I purchased #6 of them for carry out. But I am totally disappointed, it was no good, Smell bad when I take my first bite. It’s rotten potatoes. Then my family members also get same bad smell. 12625 N I35#A (inside Manpasand grocery)

This place recently changed management and it’s absolutely horrible now. The menu has changed drastically, all of the somosas and other fried items are made from frozen foods, the biryani is premade and warmed up and tastes absolutely horrible. Literally wasn’t edible and threw it away and I’ve never done that with Indian food in my entire life. Avoid this place at all costs.
