The lunch buffet is great! They even have excellent salads: chick pea, cucumber, veggie with tasty tomatoes. Better salads than any other Indian buffet in town. Very good hot dishes too with lots of veggies. It includes papadum too! Friendly staff and good service. The price is a little higher but the parking is free and easy. If you like Indian food, come here!

This evening was our second trip to India Garden, and I can honestly say that this is the best Indian restaurant experience I have had in Asheville so far. We’ve tried some of the other more renowned ones in popular tourist areas, and India Garden has been better by far. The food is excellent and in good portion. The service goes above and beyond. They have very comfortable and elegant booths, and the rest of the decor is simple and tasteful. They have a good selection of domestic and Indian beer, as well as a good wine selection. We haven’t tried it yet, but they are now offering a weekend lunchtime buffet.
