The staff is delightful if you’re dining in, and the restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, and take-out is also an option, if you just want to eat at home.
Bathrooms were clean and spacious enough.
We had an order of Chicken Vindallu and Chicken Korma. Both were quite good and went well with the side of basmati rice. The garlic naan was excellent, tasty and crispy.
The prices were reasonable and the portions were large, plenty for take-home meals, too.
Was a little disappointed, but still was wanted to try the food. The waiter (who was super friendly) seated us immediatelly and promptly served us some water. Most of the menu options were around $20 (chicken, lamb, etc..) ranging up to $30 for the fancier dishes (lobster, scallops).
I ended up ordering a lunch special chicken and vegetable platter that came with saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, some sort of chickpea/potato dish, a chicken leg, side salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber), rice, and naan. I also requested they make my dishes spicy. My wife ordered her own chicken Tikka Masala, but requested it to be not spicy.
Not a long wait, and the food came out hot and fresh, everything accurate to what and how we ordered. EVERYTHING was delicious! I was glad I chose the platter, because trying all the different dishes was very enjoyable. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her food as well. Portions were large, and the waiter was attentive and quick to refill our water when we were low. We finished by splitting a pistachio kulfi dessert (homemade indian ice cream) for $5. That was also very tasty, but not very much. Which was fine, because the rest of lunch was pretty filling.
The waiter mentioned before we left that they may be switching to an all-week lunch buffet in the next month or so. I would love to return and try it if I have the opportunity.
Altogether, the lunch for two + dessert was just under $50 with tax.
A little on the pricier side, but worth it for the outstanding food and service!
The servers were nice.
I got the chicken biryani and shared some garlic and regular naan with the table. It wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it was pretty good! The naan was pretty good too. My own personal main complaint would be that the servers weren’t the most proactive with refilling water- they weren’t very available and we had to ask. Also, the chicken tikka masala was not good- don’t get it.
