Dropped in here late with 3 of us for a post-cocktail-party meal. Not busy on Sunday night. Unsure what to expect, so we asked what was good and was recommended to try the Tikka Masala (chicken) and Madras Curry (chicken). Also had the Saag Paneer. I also had a bowl of the tomato curry soup and vegetable samosas. I think we have found our new favorite Indian restaurant. Every dish was savory, juicy and made to perfection. We also had a garlic naan: beautifully seasoned and just the right crunch. The service was attentive and the place brightly lit and clean. We are excited to return.

20 Stars would still be too few stars…. if you want to have a food experience…. you come here to fill your belly and your heart with the warmest people ans cleanest atmosphere.

There aren’t enough yummy positive words to describe this place. Do yourself and someone you love a favor….grab them and come here immediately.

We had the paneer karma, chicken tika masala, garlic naan, vegi samosas, rice pudding and chi tea…. leftovers in hand!

Started planning our at least biweekly meet ups here. Must eat again immediately. Raj is next level.

Best Indian food I’ve had in Denver! And Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Their name might be India Express but they have a lovely dining room and amazing staff that make it a great place to sit down.
We came on a Thursday night around 7p, the dining room was empty – crazy.
Araz took care of us and he must have refilled the water 5 times he was so top of everything!
We started with chai tea, absolutely delicious. Love the creaminess and spices.
They bring out come crispy chips and dipping sauces on the house. Such a light and delicious starter. I could eat the dips plain.
We also got the chaat samosas. Incredible! The seasonings and textures paired so well, crunchiness of the samosas over a bed of perfectly cooked chickpeas with red onion and yogurt drizzle adding a fresh element. And they cut them to make it easier to share.
I had the lamb Korma. Incredible. Just the perfect blend of spices, creaminess. Comes with rice but their garlic naan is amazing and pairs so well with it.
My boyfriend had the chicken madras, also amazing. He didn’t want a creamy dish and this was perfect for him.
Everything was so memorable, i can’t wait to come back

Solid choice if you’re in Denver and have a hankering for Indian.

I went with a southern Indian curry called Dalcha off their lunch menu, a curried lentil stew with chicken. I ordered it “hot” and was warned by the waitress. Spice level was about where I expected it, not quite enough to make me sweat, but very spicy nevertheless. Good flavor to the curry, hearty and filling with the lentils, no complaints.

I threw in an order of roti (whole wheat flatbread), since the lunch order didn’t come with a bread. It came out hot and fresh with my main course and was large enough to serve two people.

The complimentary chai was unexpected but appreciated. It seemed fairly typical in flavor profile, a balanced blend of spices. I prefer a lot more cardamom, personally, but that might just be the way my pops makes it.

Service was quick and friendly, with a waiter quickly topping off my water any time it dropped below 3/4 full. I’m not sure if that’s typical or because I ordered my food hot, but like the chai, I appreciated the attention.

All in all, it was better than I remember from my last visit, back when they were still running a lunch buffet. I’ll have to stop by another time or two and check out more of the menu.

Food was really good and full of flavors! We got a hot butter chicken (when they say spicy, it’s spiiiicy) and mild chicken tikka masala! The garlic butter naan goes so well with the food! As someone who grew up in a diverse food scene in LA, i was super impressed to find really good indian food in Denver! ☺️ 10/10 would come back again.

If you enjoy spicy food, this place is definitely worth a try. We ordered the biryani and chicken korma, both of which packed a good amount of heat. We visited on a Monday, so it was fairly quiet, and it seemed like many customers prefer takeout rather than dining in.

Had the Butter Chicken (Makhani) and the Special Naan (garlic AND cheese). First rate service and food quality, would honestly say this is a top 3 butter chicken for me. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for good Indian food in the area (or even from out of town)!

When you ask for “hot” that’s what you get. Excellent! The garlic Naan was an unexpectedly thin. But when you get about 6 of them, they’re flavorful and enough to share with everyone. My spouse got the Shrimp Boti in mild and enjoyed it very much. My Lamb Vindaloo in hot delivered the heat. But did not overwhelm the delicious flavor.
We’ll definitely come back.
