We discovered this Indian Restaurant while walking through Lahiana market. Owner greeted us as we entered through, he was polite and friendly. We ordered Dal Makhani and Butter chicken with Garlic Naan / Roti. Food came out quick and was delicious, specially Dal was great. My son loved it and he is picky eater. As others mentioned, don’t let the ambience of the place deter you from eating here. Food was awesome for this remote island. Highly recommended if you are in town.

Food was great! We had a chance to meet with the owner which is also the cook and his story and his passion for cooking great Indian food on a island like Maui with limited ingredients is touching. He makes the best of what he has and is extremely friendly. We would highly recommend this place if you want a change of pace with quick and fresh food. We visited Maui last year with parents and we almost had dinner there every other day since our parents prefer Indian food. The food was always excellent and the owner and chef is very accommodating, he would often make food we requested (which was not on the menu, eg. Khichadi which is an Indian comfort food) and keep it ready when we reached!! Highly recommended! Simple and delicious Indian food.

Ridiculously good food. We tried lamb biryani and fish kabobs. Both were excellent. Highly recommended if you are looking for Indian or just a new experience. Keep your spices to mild if you aren’t too comfortable. Medium can get hot.

Hidden between a lot of great eateries in Lahaina – we were skeptic at first because this was the only place with absolutely no one inside (every where else was bustling). But since we were craving Indian food, we decided to chance it anyway, and glad we did.
Food was amazing and very homely.
The west bengal style fish curry was great!
We went back the next day and consitent great taste – and again surprising we were the only folks there!
