This is my go-to spot for Indian Food now. The best Tikka (tandoori) wings in the city. I love that the tandoori oven cooks the food tender juicy & delicious without any oil. I’ve also enjoyed the biriyani, curry goat, lamb & chicken. The garlic naan was also delightful. I also love the combo plate option. It’s two small portions of your entree choice with rice. The guy at the counter is supper friendly. I love that he calls me by my last name when I walk in. Lol It’s my Indian restaurant version of cheers! It’s not fancy but the food is delicious. I wish they had better parking but patience is a virtue. If you wait a few minutes someone is always pulling off. Today I got the lamb biriyani and the tikka wings! Definitely a big enough portion for 2 or for me, 2 days! 🙂

Food was VERY bad main dishes were swimming in an excessive amount of oil making them heavy and unpleasant to eat. The biryani which should have been fragrant and moist was completely dry and lacked flavor they just tossed in spices goat pieces were incredibly dry and hard to chew. It seemed like it was old or had been overcooked and left sitting out. We got our food 25 minutes before their posted closing time but were immediately told before ordering only that we could not dine in and had to take our food to-go. It felt like they were rushing to close and didn’t want customers.I had a very disappointing experience here. I will never come back. Please represent India with good food.

Given the location, the pricing, the small space they have to work out of, and the late hours they are open, I was impressed with this place. The food was good, the staff were cool, the interior of restaurant was clean, and all seating areas had people dining + there were people picking up orders to take out the whole time. Despite the volume of orders our food was ready in a reasonable amount of time. Excellent value per dollar, I recommend it if you’re around this area going to or from Five Points MARTA station. Specifically got the Lamb Biryani + Tandoori Chicken (the vegetables served with this were particularly good).

Indian Eats is hands down one of the best spots for Indian food. The chicken tikka masala was exceptional — rich, creamy, perfectly spiced, and full of flavor without being overwhelming. The sauce had real depth, not the overly sweet version you sometimes get. Every bite felt fresh and well-balanced.

What made the experience even better was ridoy— genuinely one of the nicest, most welcoming people you’ll meet. He makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit and clearly cares about both the food and the customers.

After just leaving the Rod Wave concert, my ride was stuck in traffic and taking a while to reach me. Thankfully, India Eats was still open. My daughter and I went inside mainly just to stay warm, and we were immediately greeted by Ali, who welcomed us with the biggest smile.

He let us know they were closing in about 15 minutes, so I explained that we weren’t planning to order—just hoping to sit somewhere warm until my ride arrived. Ali didn’t hesitate for a second. He was so pleasant and understanding, told us it was no problem at all, and invited us to take a seat. That kindness alone meant everything on such a cold night.

Because of how genuinely customer-friendly and welcoming he was, I decided to order a dish of his choice—especially since I’ve never tried Indian food before. He recommended the curry chicken with veggies, and WOW… it was absolutely AMAZING. Full of flavor, comforting, and cooked perfectly. Easily a 10/10.

This unexpected stop turned into a new favorite spot. I’m officially in love with this restaurant and can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu.

Thank you, Ali, for your generosity, warmth, and top-tier service. You truly made our night unforgettable!

I stumbled on India Eats by chance. After conducting business at Georgia State University I went looking for a place to eat. I happened to see a GSU employee inside India Eats and thought to myself if she is eating here it must be good; local employees from the area generally know the best places to eat and will only frequent those they like.

So, I decided to give it a try and I am glad that I did. Not only was the food delicious with their unique combinations of flavors: herbs and spices- the non meat dishes were also extremely flavorful & fragrant. The poori with your choice of seasoned lentils, chickpeas or potatoes was truly delectable. A few days later I even drove an hour to return.

To boot, the customer service was terrific. They offered plenty of ‘new’ suggestions and they were happy to know you are satisfied with their establishment. Students receive a 15% discount. This place is definitely on my list to visit again soon!

Best food ever!! I always LOVE getting the sweet and sour mango chicken curry with the garlic naan. Also, Ridoy is literally the sweetest and always takes time to greet me and even memorize my order!! Highly recommend!

Downtown Atlanta gem! They’re open until 12am, which makes it a perfect late-night spot. The food was absolutely amazing—beautifully prepared and packed with incredible taste. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
