Overall the food is very delicious, I got butter chicken medium spice and garlic naan. I will definitely come back for more ! It’s nothing fancy in terms of looks but the food quality and customer service makes up forit! I definitely recommend trying this place out!

I am visiting Michigan and somehow food this small restaurant. I enjoy Inidian and Pakistani food. Just the right food, very tasty. I have been eating here for a few months. Thought I would give it a review before I go back to California. Today, I am having Channa Masala and Garlic Naan. Love it! Normally, I eat chicken masala and whole wheat roti. The owner cooks, so if you have any food sensitivity, just ask.

At India Cafe your delicious grub will be prepared by a older slightly eccentric Indian dude. He will take care of you and maybe tell you a story too. Had the butter chicken and garlic naan bread. Really good stop for some Indian food. Recommend checking it out

I just had the pleasure of eating at India cafe this evening. Upon entering the establishment I was greeted by shah, he took a moment to welcome me to his restaurant and asked me how my day was going.
I took a moment to look over the menu and chose to order the lamb korma with garlic nan.
The meal arrived in a very timely manner and honestly was some of the best food I have eaten in a while.
Hats off to shah. His food is amazing, I also got to sit and chat with him after my meal and really enjoyed his stories and take on the world!
I will be going back again soon!

People tend to fall into two main groups when choosing a restaurant: those who prioritize aesthetics and those who prioritize food. If you’re in the first group, this may not be the best place for you. If you’re in the second group, you’ll likely love it — the food and service are outstanding.

It’s also worth noting that all restaurants in the area undergo at least one inspection per year — a reassurance for those who might equate a lack of décor with a lack of cleanliness

This place is a hidden gem. I don’t really write reviews but I have to for this place! If you are looking for authentic homestyle indian food, THIS IS the place!!!!! The owner of this place is an absolutely amazing person and has such good heart!! He puts so much love and care into making everything that he prepares and that is what sets the food here apart from all the other indian restaurants! He genuinely cares for his customers! I HIGHLY recommend this place!!

I got the mix vegetables with rice and parantha and it was delicious!!! He didn’t have mix veg on the menu and he made it specially for me!

Place is a hole in the wall and the kitchen is kind of a disaster… but the food was super delicious and the owner was extremely friendly and welcoming. Felt like he was letting me into his home and cooked for me. The only reason I’m not giving a fifth star is because of the lack of cleanliness and character in the place.

It changed addresses but the food is still as delicious as always. This is a one-man show and his focus is on service and food, not so much ambiance and organization. His kitchen is a mess, but the food is made as you order. The tandoori chicken is a must!

The food is great. Prices are moderate. However, the ambiance is lacking. Not a good first date environment, but fine for couples in a long term stable relationship that go out to eat just for the food.
Indian restaurant with lots of vegetarian options.

I will not be coming back here, the reviews are very misleading as place is not upkept and the kitchen looked like a health hazard, the place had a funky smell, swear I could almost smell rotten chicken . The biggest issue for me was I ordered chicken samosas and I saw him handle them with unwashed hands, as soon as I saw that I canceled the rest of my order I was going to place. Then I heard him microwaving the samosas, if Gordon Ramsey taught me anything a microwave in the kitchen is a HUGE no-no. If I am out spending my money I at least expect the food to be homemade and not microwaved as I can do that at home.
