Social Profile:

Inchin’s Bamboo Garden is an Indo Chinese concept originating from Atlanta, Georgia. The core of our menu is the kind of Chinese food served in India- spicier, tangier flavors. Our first restaurant opened 17 years ago, and since then we have adapted and changed with the times. Our menu now is Asian fusion, with dishes from China, India, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore! No food experience is complete without delicious and unique cocktails, and for that we have a full service craft cocktail bar as well. Come and experience the magic of Inchin’s Bamboo Garden!

Indian & Chinese foods share the menu at this contemporary local chain featuring Asian art.

It was a different experience this time. We had to wait quite a while for the food, and overall the dishes tasted pretty normal. I really miss the lively vibes and energy the staff used to bring—it made a big difference.

The Yellow Thai Curry was the highlight of the meal, rich and comforting. But the momo and chicken 65 definitely need improvement to match the quality they once had. Hoping to see things bounce back on our next visit.

The rating is solely based on the food and service time, especially when there were hardly two customers present.

First: We ordered veg and non-veg fried momos. They were so hard we couldn’t even chew them.

Second: Veg and non-veg Manchow soup – just okay, nothing special.

Third: Gobi Manchurian (dry). Again, hardly edible. Not great, though we tried it because it was suggested to us.

Fourth: Veg Triple Schezwan and Schezwan Fried Rice. The green capsicum was raw, and the strong, pungent flavor of the capsicum overpowered the dish. It was unpleasant and difficult to eat.
Don’t recommend
Our experience was not at all good.

We went to this restaurant thinking that we will get to experience the same food quality as that of Dallas, but it was so disappointing.
We ordered manchow soup which was the only thing we liked, we then ordered momos which were very hard to chew and not at all tasty, the quantity was also less

We then ordered schezwan fried rice and triple schezwan noodles which was like khichidi
It had the raw smell of capsicum, it was the absolute worst food that we have tasted in Indo Chinese so far
They suggested us to take cauliflower manchuria which was undercooked, again no taste
We regretted ordering it

I want to give half star but forced to give 1 star
There was not a pinch of taste in the fried rice,
Only good thing is atmosphere was good and fortune cookie
if you are in Irvine area, please avoid this

Inchin’s used to be our go to spot for Indo-Chinese with Nanking in Artesia as the backup. Unfortunately the last couple of visits have been disappointing enough to change that.

The food just isn’t the same anymore. The flavors are no longer there and the dishes were noticeably heavy on oil. I rarely call out oil because most restaurants lean on oil to boost flavor but this was excessive even by that standard. Also whatsup with vinegar? They put so much vinegar that you could hardly taste anything else. Pricing has also started to feel off.. for e.g. paneer tacos are quite small (3 very small pieces) for $14 price point which makes the value hard to justify.

At this point it feels like the restaurant needs stronger direction in the kitchen both in terms of flavor consistency and portion to price balance. For now, we’ll be taking our Indo Chinese cravings to Nanking instead. Unless something meaningfully changes or we hear otherwise this won’t be a repeat spot for us.

I’ve been to Inchin Bamboo Garden many times in the Bay Area and at other locations, so I came in with certain expectations — unfortunately, this location was a huge disappointment. The food was extremely greasy, and the oil quality was noticeably bad, which made the dishes unpleasant to eat.
What made it even more frustrating was that this happened even when there were hardly two customers present, so there was really no excuse for the poor quality. The drinks were also a letdown — overly sweet to the point that we had to return them.

Overall, it was a horrible experience from start to finish. Given how good Inchin usually is elsewhere, this was shocking. I will never be going back to this location.

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have more stars for the rating. Food and portion size are both really good!

All the food comes piping hot and the portion sizes are massive! Definitely recommend the place.
All the entries come with rice on the side (good amount of rice) so think about that when ordering.

Veg Hakka noodles was so light and flavorful and had a really nice taste of its own without any side dish needed!

Chili Vegetables were actually VERY spicy! Don’t get me wrong, I actually love spicy food and found the chili chicken (which was supposed to be spicy) a good dish. But this dish was actually hella spicy! Definitely take the rice on the side or some fried rice or haka noodles to neutralize the taste. Vegetables were cooked perfectly tender and the sauce was nice as well. Just very spicy.

Loved the Chili Chicken (dry). Chicken is cooked well, not too much batter coating outside the actual pieces or anything like that. Spice level was perfect and reminded me of Chili Chicken I had at an Indo-Chinese restaurant in India. Only downside is that there were a lot of onions in the plate to fill up space. I would have appreciated more chicken in there.

Chicken Manchurian was also very nice. Not super sweet, not salty, not tangy. Just a very good flavor. Good amount of gravy in there as well, and went nicely with the Hakka noodles.

Husband got the Mango Lassi and it was very thick and strong mango flavor and actually super nice. I had a hard time stopping myself from finishing it up.

We ate here recently and ordered four dishes. The food itself was decent — but that’s where anything positive ends. When the bill came, I immediately noticed two extra dishes added that we never ordered or received.

When I pointed it out, they quickly said “oh sorry” and brought the check back, claiming it was “someone else’s receipt.” That excuse was ridiculous — there was no one else in the restaurant. It was clearly an attempt to overcharge us, plain and simple.

And then, as if that weren’t enough, the waiter had the audacity to ask for a cash tip after being caught overbilling us. Absolutely unbelievable. Who does that?

Dishonest practices like this ruin customer trust. No matter how decent the food is, I refuse to support a place that tries to cheat its customers. Check your bill carefully or better yet, take your business somewhere

As a South Asian who has traveled to India o can vouch that this place is authentic! My favorite food is Indo-Chinese and outside of India it is difficult to find good places.

My favorite food is Cauliflower Manchurian and this place did not disappoint! I felt like I was 12 eating in India, the flavors were on point.

My daughter lived the authentic Hakka Noodles. This is now her favorite place, no more Panda Express. Plus she ate all of the vegetables in the noodles

My son wouldn’t try anything new so he had the chicken nuggets with fries which were also delicious.

I ordered my husband the Chicken Butter Masala which was different then expected. Full of flavor but not as thick as we would expect. I am going to order him the Thai Red Curry next go.

We were so bummed there weren’t any leftovers

This will be our go to for eating out. Also everything was so fresh like we made it at home

Located adjacent to Southern Spice, the ambiance of this place is appealing, and the service is commendable. We ordered chili baby corn, garlic noodles, and Szechwan fried rice. The chili baby corn was passable, but unfortunately, we couldn’t even finish the remaining dishes as they were not up to par. The food was unappetizing, lacking freshness, and even had a bitter taste.
