Inca’s falls into the “hole in the wall” category with maybe six or seven tables, but that has not stopped them from producing some amazing dishes. Don’t let the size of the place fool you.
I had the Tallarin Saltado de Mariscos and the dish was fabulous. The mariscos included abundant shrimp, calamari rounds, and mussels, along with tomatoes, onions, red bell pepper, and green onions, of course mixed with tender pasta. This dish can readily serve two.
My friend had the Tallarin Saltado de Carne, similar to the de Marisco dish, only with asada rather than seafood. It was a huge serving too.
The table included the green peruvian ahi sauce and some warm bread rolls. The sauce was nice and spicy and the rolls were slightly toasted and served hot. The bread helped mop up the outstanding sauce on the mariscos dish.
Of course, Inca Cola was available and a great accompaniment to Tallarin Saltado.
Prices are flat out amazing and late lunch service on a Sunday was spot on.
Note that I took off one star because Inca charges a 4% fee for using a credit card. If that fee is advertised, it surely was not obvious.

I had a massage appointment at Body Centre of Upland (check out my review) and noticed Inca’s Peruvian Restaurant a few times during my visits.
Today was the day I decided to stop by and give them a try. Since I wasn’t very hungry, I opted to share a meal with my partner. We ordered the chicken Chaufa and an empanada. The meal also came with a dinner roll, which was nice, though a bit burnt, it was fine with butter. The service was good, and the Chaufa was decent, peppery and not as flavorful. Also, they didn’t provide extra sauce when we took the leftovers home, which was a bit disappointing. And they charge $1 for credit card payments, I wish there had been a sign indicating this somewhere on the menu or near the register.

Excellent food and service. The server was very friendly and the food came promptly. All the food tasted very fresh and the portion was good. The tomatoes in particular had a phenomenal flavor. Overall a great experience and I will return.

Stopped here on a whim and didn’t regret it! Both of the plates my wife and I ordered were full of flavor. The service was great our waiter helped us choose what to order. Definitely try the wine and beer here!

The service was good, but the food was flavorless, especially the bistec a lo pobre. The whole plate had no salt at all, and it tasted like old refrigerated meat .

Great to have Peruvian food (good one) near home. Flavors are traditional and true to dishes. Anticuchos, man…oh boy, excellent. Lomo saltado is great. Good service and very cozy place. Take a friend or your family. Date? Hmmm…maybe for breakfast. (It gets smoky for all great preparation).

I order a Lomo Salteado plate; I’m been to others Peruvian restaurants also have friends who cook Peruvian criollo food and the Lomo Salteado that I buy at Incas Grill Upland was not the Peruvian flavor that I know from my Peruvian friends food or the other Peruvian restaurant. Well I give a 3 stars because the food was good but not that unique Peruvian criollo fantastic flavor that I know. That’s my honest opinion the place it’s nice, food was made in least than 15 minutes.

Good Peruvian food. Their selection is good. Good service as well. Parking can be limited, but good to wait for. The food is well portioned and tasty. I got the bistek a lo pobre. Good selection, I like the option and taste. Fresh and cooked to order. Give it a try.

2025-05-23: Can’t say I understand the current rating here on Google maps. I tend to gear myself towards eating at only 4.5+ rated w/ many review places – if you are like me, sometimes the rating here is Definetly off. Way off. This is a perfect example of this. I’m often in this area visiting family and will pass when I’m on Foothill and have consistently said “I’d like to try that place” – this evening after doing some shopping near by and heading back to where my wife and I stay, I had a place to stop in mind and when my wife happened to remind me, I turned around and decided tonight was the night to try. Nice little place. Dude who helped us was super nice. I decided to get one of the seafood stir fried with tomatoes and onions dishes – gentleman took a few minutes to explain what the difference was and I opted for the one with rice. In additional we shared fried sweet potatoes (nicely fried and seasons, really like the half dollar sized offering vs say a “fry”) also had a personal favorite of mine and at any place that offers I buy – yuca fritas. Incredible. Wife had one of the sandwiches, steak. The food was spectacular. Very flavorful and the contracting flavors of the 3 types of seafood + the purple onions + tomatoes and the tasty sauce was spot on. Presentation was great. Place is really a nice little spot. Service was courteous and friendly. Portions were large – wife and I both needed to take some home. The green side sauce that came with the bread was spot on for my personal spice level. I can’t even offer any criticism about the visit at all. Glad that tonight was the night. Great way to close out my work week having a nice quiet dinner with my wife while having some really great food in a great little spot.
