It was my first time to go to this restaurant tonight and last. It is Peru Independence Day and I’m guessing owners would know people will want to come out and have dinner to celebrate and should have had more staff working. It took a little over 40 mins for someone to get our orders…1hr to get water for my family and I until my daughter got up to get it herself. It took another 25 mins to get our drinks which were 2 cans (inka), a beer, and juice. Pisco took another 20 mins to get. Food… now you can imagine! My 3yr old and 10 yr old were starving! (We all were! But kids? At least get their food first!) … I will say food tasted good, is a nice little location with plenty parking (it’s in a plaza). Service was not good.. again, if you are NOT hungry, NOT thirsty and no kids, willing to wait 2 hrs to get your food then it’s a nice lil spot to chill and watch TV. I will just go to my usual place.. Limón in Walnut Creek or also try Mono in el Cerrito.

I ordered ceviche mixto, for delivery, they put two raw shrimps from the bag to the plate. I can’t believe it!

The dish we always order is always on point. However, throughout the years we noticed that the customer service is still the same. The prices have increased quite a bit. All this restaurant needs is customer service improvement!! That’s all Our waitress was really nice to us though.

Every Peruvian I’ve met around the area raves about this place and it meets the expectation! As compared to many “fancier”, “Americanized” Peruvian spots, this place serves up authentic Peruvian dishes with very generous portions. Delicious!

Service was a little slow otherwise 5 stars. But our waitress was very nice and friendly. Food came out quick and very hot. The beef fried rice I had was probably the best fried rice I have ever had. Outstanding! This was our first time. Can’t wait to go back!

My first time here with friends who said this is a great Peruvian restaurant. I ordered the Bistec a Lo Pobre. Staff is nice. Appetizers came in about 30 min, main course over an hour and at different times for everyone at the table. The steak was medium per order but had no flavor. Neither did the fries not even salt. I ate a couple of fries and a small piece of the steak which looked like it was boiled and gave up on it. Friends were also not impressed with their meals. Took another 30 min to get hefty bill. I wont be coming back.

Incredibly slow service but servers were friendly. It was about an hour-and-a-half wait for food (meat, potatoes, rice, ceviche). A requested medium-cook on a piece of steak came out so dry it wasn’t even well done, more like *congratulations*. Unfortunately, not worth the time or money.

Terrible service, very simple ceviche, and small portions for the price. Sadly it is not worth going to this place anymore. And they include a 18% gratuity, whether you think it is deserved or not. I complained about the ceviche and was told that they would consult with their kitchen that was true or not, poor service.

My favorite Peruvian restaurant in town. The anitcuchos is always seasoned and grilled to perfection, the Limo Saltado is always a hit and the ceviche with the salsa criollo is so succulent and fresh!
