The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The sushi and sashimi were perfectly prepared, and the presentation was beautiful. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant, perfect for a nice dinner or special occasion. Definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve been to. Highly recommend!
Our waiter, Brandon, was amazing. He was training a new staff member (I didn’t catch her name, but she was doing great!), and both of them made us feel so welcome. Brandon was super patient and easy to talk to—his recommendations were on point. It was our first time there, so we took our time looking at the menu, and I really appreciated that we didn’t feel rushed. That’s rare, because at most places you can feel the pressure to order quickly, but here it felt so chill.
Nidia checked in on us throughout our visit and was so sweet and attentive. Talking with her and Brandon felt like chatting with friends—they were both so easygoing, funny and relatable which made the whole experience feel extra warm and personal.
The food was fresh and delicious! I had passion twosome, the 1975 and a California roll. We got there during happy hour so I decided to have a lychee martini that was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just right. For dessert, I went with the green tea tiramisu, which was light and flavorful. They also had fried ice cream with red bean, vanilla, and green tea options (if I remember correctly).
By the time we finished, I didn’t want to leave. I wanted more sushi but was way too full—and honestly, I just wanted to stay and soak in the cozy, friendly, and just like home vibe a little longer. Huge shoutout to Brandon, Nidia, and Carlos (pretty sure he was one of the runners) and to the rest of the staff who helped make our first visit so memorable. My boyfriend and I keep talking about how good everything was and how we can’t wait to go back!
The food itself was okay, but what really disappointed us was that no one mentioned refills weren’t free. If refills are charged, the staff should let customers know before refilling. It’s not about the money, it’s about clear communication and honesty.
The only thing I didn’t like was that the host sat us at a table with a really low energy vibe, so dinner felt more like a nap except I wasn’t the one sleeping in the chair.
