Happy Lappy
A little gem in downtown Louisville. I was looking for a nice breakfast eatery and found them on Google Map. Was a few minutes from hotel. Locally owned and operated. Farm to table, fresh, tasty, healthy and friendly staff.
Small place with sit down area. Bright and airy atmosphere. I spoke with the owner he filled me in on the restaurant. They have had their ups and down, but I think an
establishment like this should be a staple for the neighborhood. The owner said they are more known for their lunch therefore am returning for lunch.
For lunch I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken bowl and a side of braised brisket. I wanted to just try the brisket.
All the dishes were good and tasty. Plenty to eat unless you have a huge appetite. For fast meal that is healthy and support local economy, you can’t get better.
I recommend them for a meal or two.

Very clean, delicious food. Exactly what I wanted. Allow customizing, friendly, open/ visible kitchen. A lot of nearby restaurants have American food (fried stuff, burgers, steak, ect) so it was nice finding a place with healthy options.

We both LOVED our salads! The Mediterranean and the Fall Apple Brie. Full of flavor and fresh ingredients. The staff were friendly and the line moved quickly. We’ll definitely be back!

Just ok… $42 for 2 breakfasts. Eggs were not good everything else was just ok. Pretty much serve yourself with a coffee pump. Not really worth the money for the food or the experience. Paid to throw out the eggs

Food was absolutely phenomenal. I would check this out at least once a week if I lived here. Definitely worth going to see. Food great, service quick, friendly,no issues or complaints. Plenty of seating. Price justified by flavor and serving size. A must check if you’re local and/or visiting. I went for lunch. They also have a completely separate breakfast menu from 7-10 that I want to try.

Horrible and disgusting first experience. Ordered the Mediterranean Bowl. And the chicken had the most unpleasant taste. The grilled zucchini was soggy. Horrible.
EDIT: following up on the shop’s owner response to my above review. I have added the receipt of my order. That is what your server prepared. I has asked for a Mediterranean bowl and that is what I received. There were no carrots on mine. They put a yellow colour mushy thing that resembles a yellow zucchini. You can check your footage. I threw my entire bowl in trash after a bite.

I work in downtown, so I am here, unashamedly, multiple times a week. I am never disappointed, and it is consistently fresh, consistently delicious, and consistently has incredible customer service! The employees are happy and helpful, which is the cherry on top to an unmatched menu! The owner goes above and beyond. I can’t say enough about how much I love this place or how much I enjoy working down the street!
I should also mention I have multiple dietary restrictions, and they make it look easy!

Well, $26 later and the only things that were enjoyable was the coffee that I fixed myself and the bacon. How can you mess up French toast you may ask? Please answer, the French toast tasted “sour” burnt and dry. (To-go order) no syrup in my bag. The fruit cup was watermelon what was mushy. Thought it would have been better as it is made to order, but it wasn’t and I’m still hungry.
