In-N-Out Burger

  4.5 – 6,258 reviews   • Hamburger restaurant

From the first bite of your burger to your last french fry, quality is the most important ingredient at In-N-Out Burger. Since opening in 1948, we’ve been doing fresh the old-fashioned way. Our burgers are grilled to order made with juicy 100% beef patties and freshly baked buns. We only use crisp, fresh produce, our fries are hand-cut from whole potatoes, and our shakes are made from real ice cream.

Classic burger chain serving customizable burgers, hand-cut fries & shakes.

Good burger place, as you’d expect from In and Out. I like the animal style. We had both the doubled double, animal style and protein. Strawberry shake was good, a bit sweet. Staff was friendly. Place was clean, including restroom.

Bucket List, check. As much as I’ve read about this place, I was hoping for much more. I was not in the least impressed with the food. The fries (I got both kind, regular and animal) were blah. The cheese on the animal fries was hard 5 minutes after I got them. So, I really couldn’t enjoy them. The regular fries were on par with my least favorite fries, Burger King. But at least Burger Kings fries are really good fresh out of the oil. These fries are just not hitting. Now the burger. Hahahahaha! What a joke. I got the Double Double and my wife got the Single. The burger is just ok for me. She liked hers. I liked mine as well, but for all of the hype, I’ll take Shake Shack or BurgerFi or a Whopper® over this. We have a local spot called Tasty’s, their burger would beat this burger hands down. Now the service was great! The team were all very nice and you could tell they are treated well. The store was clean and very large for a fast food restaurant.

Maybe I had outsized expectations based on all of the hype. I can honestly say, the hype is UNFOUNDED and UNWORTHY. This is just another burger joint. Their standout quality are their employees. They are the only reason for the 3-stars PERIOD. Now that I’ve experienced it, I could care less if this place makes it to a corner spot near me in Florida.

I’m not a big fan of hamburgers, so it’s hard for me to find a place that I consider “wow.” We went because my kids hadn’t had one yet. I tried it in California. The burger was okay, the fries were terrible, and it was incredibly crowded, so be patient. Luckily, we found a table, but don’t expect to find a spot. Overall, I think it’s very overrated. Please excuse me if anyone is offended by my review.

Was excited about trying this place out. Burger was good, negative on the fries. Not what it’s hyped up to be.

This In-N-Out location is perfectly situated in Medford, and I absolutely love coming here for lunch or pretty much any time of day. When I was pregnant, this was my go-to spot for late-night cravings at 12 a.m. (They close at 1 a.m., so get there before then!). They don’t take big bills late at night, but that’s a small thing. I’ve also noticed that this location is a favorite for police officers and first responders late at night, which speaks to the service and quality here. The place is always clean, and whether I dine in or take out, I know I’m getting great food. The line can get long, and you might have to wait a bit, but honestly, it’s worth it to avoid heading all the way down to California or up to Grants Pass for the best burgers in town!

One of my favorite late night stops ever! Unfortunately in more recent visits the food has been very cold, hopefully this issue is resolved soon as I miss this late night treat.

First time trying In-N-Out Burger since I am from the East Coast. I really like the classic burger joint uniforms and the styling of the establishment. The menu essentially has one option which is a burger with fries which honesty I am a fan of. The prices are extremely reasonable for what you are getting. I am honestly not a fan of the fries. However, the double burger was very good especially compared to other burgers at the same price range. The vanilla ice cream shake was solid, just plane old school vanilla shake, nothing fancy which I can appreciate. All in all, I had a positive experience and I recommend the burger for sure.

In N Out Burger is one of my favorite drive throughs ever, they have great food, good service, and some of the best fries. It’s a good place to go if you just are not in the mood to cook and have hungry kids to feed. I have to admit that it is a bit loud if you eat inside depending on the time of day, and the drive through is a bit inconvenient.

Emily, the manager at In-N-Out, is absolutely fantastic. The way she interacts with both staff and customers truly stands out. She leads with professionalism, kindness, and efficiency, creating a positive atmosphere that you can feel the moment you walk in. My family all like their order a special way, Emily immediately took care of our group.

It’s clear her team respects her, and that translates into great service and a smooth, welcoming experience for customers. She handles everything with confidence and a great attitude, even during busy times. Managers like Emily make all the difference
