I’m not used to being at an In-N-Out that looks kinda dirty and unkempt. Lemons were out, regular size lids were out. Tables and floors weren’t wiped down. The 3 bin trash had slop on it- super easy wipe down when not busy. And it wasnt busy! My fries were extremely salty. There was female employee talking loudly about her personal life and social media and her friend with mental health issues from the kitchen. Im all for a casual friendly work place ..but keep it a little more quiet. It echoed across the restaurant, we were in the far corner trying to enjoy our food after a long drive. Just a mention, not trying to get anyone in trouble but as a training opportunity. On a positive note, The young, blonde hair gentleman at the counter was great! He was talkative and friendly and provided excellent customer service.

Really good food, reasonable prices for the quality. The selection is very limited, but if you are there for the few things they sell, you won’t be disappointed. I got fries and a double double (cheeseburger) with standard toppings. You pick your toppings, and they have both raw onions and grilled ones as options. The house dressing is tasty.
There are only 2 of these in the Willamette Valley, so it’s worth checking out if you happen to be nearby. I wouldn’t drive more than 30 min for it, but many people seem to think it’s worth the trek.

One of my favorite burger places of all times. And for the amount of money you spent, I think it’s definitely well worth every penny. There was a couple of times where our order wasn’t correct and didn’t realize it until we got home, but when we called customer service, they did not hesitate to make it right and compensated us by sending gift cards for a full burger up to a 4×4, fries, and a drink!

I felt that the service, was extremely fast. Our burgers were, hot and fresh. Delicious food. Everyone were courteous and very friendly. They definitely went out of their “way” to share this cheerful environment. The place was bigger than I expected and very clean and not over packed.

The hamburger patty was thinner then the slice of tomato and onion. It was like a vegetable burger with a little bit of meat on it.
My fries were a little burnt, but my son’s were not.

Not like the California In and Out the service could improve. The woman outside drive through was cranky but the Hispanic girl at first window was sweet. The food was mediocre not the in and out I’m use too. I’m t was okay for a quick bite but nothing special to be honest.
It wasn’t too busy only 2 cars ahead of us and a few lined up after we got in line.
Fries were kind of dry and extra salty.
Burger patties were way smaller and than i remember last. Just not a good vibe here and could be the weather.

Maybe I don’t get it. It’s a good fast food burger, but is it worth a wait? I doubt it. Is it better than other fast food burgers? Probably. Fresh ingredients, check. Well cooked, check. If there is no line, enjoy. If you are waiting in line behind 100 cars at the Kaiser in-n-out, just drive 2 hours south and go here.

Like some places that have a cult following . . as suspected for a very long time, the HYPE and legend is far larger than reality. Although the brainwashing and money spent on advertising works very well to a degree on some diehard followers, lemming legions will follow . . the truth is far less romantic.
I took a whole track team to the In-N-Out in Roseburg Oregon last night. I have to be totally fair here . . the atmosphere, cleanliness, professionalism and service of the employees, all AAA+ . . SERIOUSLY. Very impressed. 100% old school on the look, clean, feel and service and we got served reasonably fast, considering the size of our group.
NOW . . about the food.
I’d never really been very interested in going to In-N-Out Burger because of the ridiculous long lines of cars, 2 – 3 wide and I figured that there’s no way that any drive thru burger place could be worth the wait and hassle. Well . . since the track team chose this restaurant to eat at . . I thought I’d give it an objective try.
Unfortunately . . was I not only correct in my estimation of brainwashed legions buying into the hype . . it was even worse than I had imagined. I didn’t think a significant percentage of our population could be this gullible. If your a walk in customer, I could kind of forgive you for being taken in a bit by the charm of the interior and service . . but purely based on the food which isn’t even as good as McDonald’s (which is a pretty low bar) . . I really don’t get all the long lines, die hard fans and hype. Are there really that many people with such poor taste?!?!?
The burger: Bland, less than average, a bit overly salty and the only thing noticably good about it . . the toasted bun.
The fries: Possibly the worst I’ve ever had. A truly bizarre, crunchy cardboard texture . . as if reconstituted potato starch was reformed into french fry shapes, then fried and served as real “fries”. Truly weird. They were that bad.
This is one of the strangest fast food experiences that I have ever had. If they put as much love into the food as they do the atmosphere and professional employee training . . I could maybe see some hype . . but sorry . . I was very disappointed by the poor quality of the food . . which should be top of the list of importance.

Ok. It was my first time ever at In N Out. I was on a trip to Oregon. I went to Crater Lake, and on my way back, I was bound to try In N Out. I am glad that I finally had an In N Out burger. I got the Double Double, an order of fries, drink, and went back to get a strawberry shake. I can’t wait till we get them East of the Mississippi. My only rookie mistake was not knowing there is a secret menu. My cousin scolded me on that one. I guess something to look forward to try.
