My first time at this location. I decided to make it over in the afternoon versus evening. The line at night is crazy busy, what’s new, right. It’s expected at any In&Out.
I received my combo about 30 minutes. Burger looked good but was on the cold side. Meat wasn’t hot off the grill compared to what I’m used to tasting at other iIn&Out in San Diego. Not planning to exchange and complain… too hungry to do all that.
Staff are polite. Basic work behavior
Lots of parking and nice landscape. Clean
So far, In&Out on Coronado Avenue has the best and friendlies service and food is fresh and hot for being as busy as they are.

I just came in today, it’s a rainy day so my little brother wanted to get some hot cocoa. Jose D took our order and he was very nice and had great customer service. The food came out quick and was delicious.

Update Jan 2026: In-N-Out customer service did an exemplary job! They followed up and made sure that I was happy with the end results. I am upgrading them from a 1 star to three.
Terrible experience here tonight even for an in-n-out. My girl and I waited almost a whole hour inside for four burgers and two fries!!! I spoke to two employees at the front about my order and they did nothing about it. I understand it’s just food but come on man! The manager finally stepped in but we had to wait another 15 minutes!!. Then I came home to find my order completely wrong. DO BETTER !!!

To whoever manager is reading this please get rid if the guy taking the orders for the drive thru (Today’s date March 4, 2026 shift 11:30 am – 12:00 pm), he was the most rude weird guy who made me and another car wait on the wrong lane for about 10 minutes while letting everyone else pass before us when we got there FIRST, then once I’m placing the order, he has the NERVE to tell me with a hypocrite tone and smile “Thanks for being so fast, you didn’t had to”!!!, I’m like “EXCUSE ME??? on top of the INCOMPETENCE of making me wait for so long because you don’t know what you’re doing, you have the nerve to call me out with sarcasm because I’m obviously frustated and want to place my order asap without small talk. Today I visited this place and I really liked it. I was helped quickly and my order came out fast. My burger was perfectly cooked, and the best part was the fries — they were just how I remember them from a long time ago. Recently the fries had been a bit too dry, but today they were great again. I was a bit skeptical about the new In-N-Out location on Plaza Blvd in National City, especially since that area is always so busy. But I was pleasantly surprised! We went through the drive-thru on a Saturday at lunch, and even though it’s usually hectic, the wait was only about 10 minutes—traffic wasn’t a problem at all. As always, In-N-Out delivered with their consistent, delicious food. The burger was fresh, the fries crispy, and the service fast. It’s great to have a reliable spot like this nearby. Definitely five stars from me!

What a waste. Its more like ” In… wait a while…out”. Took over 20 minutes to get my food. Not only that, the box where my order was, (sitting there getting cold) is when they realized that they never called my number. They finally handed me over this greasy box with my food inside. The hamburger was cold, fries… cold and the taste… not so good. Sorry. Please don’t expand “In-n-Out” to the east side.
