Family-owned In Contrada Kitchen invites you to visit us! Come enjoy an afternoon in the vines while delighting in authentic Italian Cuisine, live music, and stunning views. We offer inside dining in addition to covered outside seating in the vineyard. Outside, you will find gazebos, sun shades, misters, and fans for the hot summer months, as well as heaters and blankets for the chilly Texas winters. Reservations are not required but strongly encouraged for parties of 6 or more. Reservations can be made on OpenTable, or through our website. Please make sure to note our Kitchen Hours if you will be dining with us: The kitchen closes promptly at 9pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 10pm and 6pm on Sunday.

Last Friday, we decided to go to @incontradakitchen_winery for dinner. It was a 15-minute drive away, a vineyard within San Antonio.
I had a glass of Barbera and Hubby had the Sauvignon Blanc. We shared the Wedge Salad, Baked Brie with French Bread, Margherita Pizza, and Penne Alla Vodka. Hubby and Dad shared the Chili. It was a lot of food and a good variety. Food was tasty, though heavy on the carbs.
We didn’t have reservations but it’s likely recommended if you want to sit indoors.

Went with some friends and we had a great time. Our server, Jessica was very helpful, sweet and knowledgeable on the food and wines. The food was delicious. We tried the charcuterie board, bruschetta and prosciutto pizza. For drinks we each did a wine tasting – the Zinpom was good. Will definitely be back again

Definitely not your typical Olive Garden Italian restaurant! First time here & definitely will return. Awesome atmosphere, with live music, Dylan was performing & I swear I thought this man was a professional artist. He sounded amazing!
Food was definitely simple, not a huge selection but very flavorful
My server Jeray asked if I am a fan of lemon as the dish my husband & I wanted was the Linguine al Limone with grilled shrimp and mentioned it was very leminony lol all servers everywhere should mention or ask that and glad he did as my hubby hates Lemons and lemon dishes
I however loved it! He made a great recommendation for a wine as my daughter & I only care for sweet wines.
The outdoor seating was spectacular!

We were a little disappointed that this was not actually a vineyard. It has a nice setting. They import their grapes and make their own wine. This is not a true Texas winery. We dis couple of the wine tasting and got a souvenir glass. Our recommendation is to have more information about the wines in the tasting selection. We shared the homemade fennel pollen sausage pizza in lieu of an appetizer. It’s a cute date spot in NE San Antonio. They offer fun events like goat yoga. They also offer free Uber rides if people feel unsafe to drive.

The outdoor seating is incredibly cute. The menu is simple, but the quality is great. The wines were excellent. Unfortunately, we couldn’t bring our dog because, according to the website, only members are allowed to do so. That was disappointing, but everything else was fantastic.

We made reservation’s for a party of 4 people 5 days before on a Saturday for 7:15 since we would be in town visiting. On Saturday at 6:50 (our uber was 5 minutes out) they called and canceled because the weather was going to drop below freezing at some point in the night. Mind you I knew the weather a week in advance. So we had to cancel the Uber – which is a crappy thing to do and find an alternative. After being turned away from other places twice for not having reservations we needed up at the Mellow Mushroom. It was great! Good food and service so I would say just go there instead! They have fantastic speciality brick oven pizza from scratch. The. We went to Whiskey Books for a night cap! Very disappointed in this vineyard who cancels someone 20 minutes prior to a 7:15 reservation on Sat night for a drop to 32 degrees predicted at 3 am! Very frustrating!!

We enjoyed a week night date here recently. The grounds are absolutely beautiful but it was hot when we went so we sat inside. Service was slow but we ordered a bottle of wine so it didn’t impact us a lot. The regular cab was okay and the reserve was quite tasty. Unfortunately there were a couple wines we were interested in but couldn’t get (due to being out or only for club members). As far as food goes, we got the burrata which was quite good and the pizza we thought was just okay.

The most darling winery! They have great shade and misters for hot days. Their live music on the weekend is so charming. They truly care about their customers and have great service. I love their pizza, wine, and cannolis.

Little Bris and Danny Boy make this place what it is. The most memorable presence is the owner Ed. (I once went to an 80s party here and we wore the same costume lol). The food is great, events are great, and being a member here is BEYOND worth the expense! Photos are from a tasting event!

Came by on my lunch break with some coworkers and ended up having a great time. The wine tasting was awesome, and the pasta and charcuterie board were really, really good! Only downside was having to head back to work, coming here for lunch was a bad call ’cause we wanted to hang out longer haha, This is definitely more of an after-work spot. I’ll be back for sure, and next time I’m bringing my wife. She’s gonna love the rosé wines!
