Just home now, was in there for 20 minutes. never brought out any food, it was all old. 25% of the options weren’t even there anymore. the expensive stuff too. They were mopping and shutting down lights. It was freezing. and then they ask for $42 for two people who just ate your leftover garbage. brought the check within ten minutes of us being in there. they are closing down an hour early with customers in the building. Just inconsiderate, rude people to be doing that. Dinner Prices with no food from dinner. and they were PUMPING air conditioning right at the table they sat us at. not only was i cold, but the food on my plate was freezing before i could get to it. what a horrible experience. so sad to be running a business like that. never again. ill probably have to edit this later after i get food poisoning.

The food is EXTREMELY greasy, over salted & tastes old. Many of the meats are so odd looking and tasting that the only way to know what you’re eating is by reading an items name tag at the buffet ( The pics I included are from various cuts of meat I took home but couldn’t identify &/or couldn’t stomach to eat).
One item I was able to identify by taste was the steak, but it was so fatty and filled w/ gristle, that it really was not edible.
The woman who runs the cash register can be nice at times, but that all depends on how much you’re spending there.
I’ve been to this restaurant a total of three times. The first time I came was when restaurants were just starting to re open back up after the pandemic. They were very sweet, accommodating & the food wasn’t half bad (especially their egg tarts!). This is why we went back for a second time. The second time I went back, the food was pretty bad, but I thought it was maybe a one-off and decided to give them another chance. The third time we went back was yesterday and we got very nauseous directly after eating the meal. We won’t be back for a fourth visit.

Oh, gross. Fruit flies. Watermelon was rotten and brown. Seriously.. brown?! How do you even manage that? Basic food choices, the effort was low for a high price. They stopped making new food 2 hours before they even closed, we were wandering around each buffet bar aimlessly, on repeat, just picking through what looked edible. Now I have a tummy ache and believe me, I have a gut of steel so…. that’s saying something.

Absolutely the best variety of dishes. Wonderful shrimp dishes. Very fresh food. I was disappointed with the temperature of the soup it was not hot. But the dessert bar made up for everything. Highly recommend the imperial palace.

Keep raising prices but dont add new foods or raise quality of food. One of the most expensive basic chinese restaurants in town. Imperial on peach is 10x better and worth the money.

Takeout is always good and ready to go when I arrive. As for the buffet, the best time to go is from around noon to 3pm (the food is always fresh and good during this time). The staff is nice. I’ve never had a bad experience with this place and I always enjoy getting food from here!
