Easygoing hangout offering cocktails & international dishes amid vintage-style decor.

Seattle has a wonderful diversity that extends to the bar scene. While looking for dinner after 10pm, we still have a vast array of food choices beyond pub or diner food. Imperial Kitchen and Bar in Belltown offers Hong Kong cafe style food while offering a full bar experience including creative cocktails. The food menu has a variety of international choices, and the dishes are pleasantly good. The place is understandably loud, being a bar. The décor is old-school dark wood bar chic with small HK style neon signs hanging from the ceiling. The Seahawks celebrations merriment was still ongoing with karaoke blasting on Superbowl Sunday. Service was swift, and the food came out in a timely manner. I will remember this place for future late-night food.
The Food:
Rib Eye Steak Platter, $28 – 4.5 Stars
This sizzling platter comes with your choice of sauce and a choice of starch. Hubby chose black pepper sauce and spaghetti. Hubby asked for medium rare, but the rarest they offer is medium due to being served on a sizzling platter. Fair enough. The platter did arrive smoking hot. The flavors were pretty good. The black pepper sauce was delivered warm, not very hot. The flavors met expectations.
Stir Fried Udon with Tenderloin Steak, $20.95 – 4 Stars
This dish is also done in a black pepper sauce. I quite like the high veggies-to-udon ratio, almost equal parts. Overall flavor is a bit salty. Some beef pieces are better than others, a mix of tender and chewy.
Garlic Pepper Soft Shell Crab, $16.95 – 3.5 Stars
Despite being fried, these pieces are softer, less crispy than I all other fried soft-shell crab I have had. Perhaps they might need to double fry. These have good flavor with good seasonings despite not being particularly crispy.

This establishment has recently changed hands and now showcases a delightful fusion of Asian flavors. I was genuinely impressed by how expertly they prepare traditional Latin dishes, such as Lomo Saltado, which was cooked to perfection. The waitstaff delivers an exceptional level of service, reminiscent of a five-star dining experience, making every guest feel valued. The drinks are crafted with precision, complementing the exquisite food beautifully. This place truly stands out as a hidden gem, offering a wonderful combination of delectable cuisine, refreshing beverages, and attentive service. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.

Great place for game nights and chill ones as well! Slowly turning into a very modern Asian cuisine spot, with great eats, tasty drinks, and a huge screen to watch your favorite sports. Waitstaff is friendly – Joe especially, accommodating, welcoming all of Seattle’s finest!

I love this place The softshell crab burger with truffle fries is such a nice treat. I’ve always received excellent service there, and today I got to try a custom cocktail of their’s (cucumber and basil?) that was outstanding ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I eventually need to try their Peruvian Food, but that probably means that I won’t have room for the softshell crab burger
Come check them out!

Really great drinks and food. We enjoyed the lychee martini and the tequila passion. The tequila passion was the perfect mix of spicy and sweet. Highly recommend! Deep fried gyoza was great for an appetizer. I really liked the stir fried udon with steak, which was a little spicy but so good. My partner had the stir fried tenderloin and also really enjoyed that. It seems like you can not go wrong with anything on their menu. Joe was phenomenal and very attentive and gave great recommendations. We had a great evening!

This place is a Belltown gem. Fun aesthetic and a Hong Kong fusion menu that has a little bit of everything- highly recommend the gyoza, loma saltado, ribeye with spaghetti, fried udon, and french toast. Great cocktails too! I especially like getting baijiu-based drinks here. Joe and Eric do a great job and always make me and my friends feel at home.

Very kind staff and amazing cocktails. From the moment we stepped in the door the staff were very accommodating and friendly – bar man advised if there was any cocktail we wanted that wasn’t featured on the menu, he could make it for us (which we really appreciated). Ordered a lychee martini and Tokyo old fashioned. Both were absolutely amazing cocktails. The lychee martini was one of the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend Imberial Kichen and Bar for its amazing cocktails and fabulous staff. Hope to return again soon

We came here with a group before the Seahawks game. We waited 45 minutes for drinks, and then were told they don’t steam food at this time (2pm). We were the only people in the restaurant. I was really excited because there were good reviews. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The poor gal working was the only one. I never write a bad review, however we all traveled from out of town and we were really excited for a fun lunch with family.

Amazing food and cocktails with a great vibe. The flavors and textures were some of the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend the black pepper sauce on any sizzling plate! Happy hour also allows you to try a bunch of tasty treats for a fraction of the price. Bartender was very attentive to our needs. A must return restaurant!
