Good lunch deal, $14 post tax and tip!
Awesome service with awesome interior decorations and ambience.

Other places might have slightly larger meat portions (though to be fair, Imperial Kitchen lunch special includes tea and soup, which many places don’t), but this place is still better overall for experience.

I’ve been a lifelong customer of imperial Palace and I will continue to be a lifelong customer since their transition to imperial kitchen, the food quality and the friendliness of staff has not changed, the amazing decor has not changed, the reasonable prices with massive portions has also not changed which continues to be a breath of fresh air in this economy. And finally my favorite. The hot tea included with every meal. Truly the best overall restaurant experience here in Lincoln. Will continue to be a lifelong customer until the day they either close or I’m too geriatric to make it there on my own!

Update: I just want to add that this has been my go-to place whenever I’m craving a succulent Chinese meal. They’re consistently good, and whenever I’m feeling a bit adventurous, their menu has a lot to offer. Seriously, go here.

This place is amazing! I ordered the beef and tomatoes and the scallion pancakes. The complimentary tea was good as well. I’m definitely gonna come back and try their other dishes.

Excellent food! The only thing I would change is putting the crab Rangoon in a separate bag or container. Mine was put in with my food (to go) and absorbed much of the liquid from the dish and became soggy. Great service and atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

Very surprised by the menu ingredients. Not your typical Cookie cutter Chinese restaurant.
Good Hot N Sour soup and the Garlic shrimp was what you expect to eat. Not breaded, but actual nice shrimp and we’ll portioned. The complimentary Oolong tea was perfect. Staff had no issues adding an ingredient and were attentive. Nice clean place. Will experiencing more flavors soon

The spicy crispy chicken was so good, I just about inhaled my meal. ️ Clean space, fast service, and solid food. Totally went back the next day for dinner.

As a Chinese American who has lived in China, LA, and NYC, I understand regional differences in American Chinese food. However, the fried rice here was shockingly bad—it tasted like plain rice with soy sauce dumped on it. No wok hei (breath of the wok), no aromatics like green onion, no depth from white pepper or Shaoxing wine. Just bland, one-note soy sauce flavor.

I get that this is Americanized Chinese food in Nebraska, but even basic takeout joints in small towns usually get fried rice somewhat right. How is this place rated so highly? Maybe other dishes are better, but if the fried rice is any indication, I’d skip it.

We ordered one cumin lamb, one pork belly in soy sauce and one fry vegetable with steam rice to go. The portion was so small. And majority inside were carrots, onion and noodles instead meat dishes. They used to be better before pandemic. Now the price of cumin lamb went up to 17.50 but majority was vegetable? It didn’t say “vegetable and lamb” on the menu. The quality of rice is terrible too. I understand everything is expensive now, but cutting cost by lower the quality of food in a restaurant will not last long. It used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant in Lincoln. But spending $50 for two people with quality of food like that? We will not coming back anymore.

Stopped in for the first time to get some lunch. It was absolutely delicious for only $10! Fresh meat, vegetables and hot when received. Egg drop soup good, crab rangoon good as well. Served with hot tea and fortune cookie. Highly recommend eating here. It did not disappoint. Thank you to the attentive staff and cook. ☆☆☆☆☆
