Imperial Hibachi & Sushi was a nice lunch spot for our group during the busy 2025 holiday season. The space inside was huge, with a large bar, dedicated sushi bar it looked like, and several hibachi tables. While I didn’t love each phase of our hibachi meal, everything overall was solid. Would come back if I was searching out a hibachi style dinner.

One of my favorite sushi spots! Stopped in for a late dinner tonight with my boyfriend and received the best service from Joy, Daisy, Ray and Margret. They recommended the lemon pepper shrimp, geisha roll and double face roll and it definitely did not disappoint!

My wife and I here for date night/ celebration of a success and it is our new FAVORITE hibachi place in Dallas. The staff was amazing— so kind. I think they filled up our water 5 times. The Chef was funny and kind and a wonderful cook!! The food was all cooked to perfection. The salad dressing was so tasty. Between us we had fillet mignon, shrimp, scallops, and chicken and loved it all. Not a single dish we weren’t happy with. Very highly recommend !

We went to celebrate a family birthday – this was to be a special treat. It’s a lot more than we would regularly pay for a meal because it was a special occasion. I’m so disappointed in this place. Our cook did no special show whatsoever, he walked off to get veggies after he put eggs on the grill and they burned. I asked him to re-do them because they were burned, he didn’t, he just chopped them all up and continued therefore we had burned eggs in our fried rice. Then the chicken was so overcooked I could only find a handful of bites that were not chewy. Plus there was no flavor at all. And lastly as we waited and waited and waited for our checks, I noticed another cook across the room had these big trays stacked on the very bottom of their cart (which was very close to the floor! The veggie tray was laying right on top of a tray of meat! Nothing in between the bottom of the top tray and the meat on the bottom tray. My stomach turned wondering how long it was down there and what that tray had been sitting on before it was placed directly on top of the meat on the other tray. I’ll never go back to this place. I’m disgusted and what a waste of over $50 for a meal! If I hadn’t been with 10 other people I would’ve asked for a manager and asked for my money back.

Tried this place out, very short wait without a reservation and staff was friendly. Hibachi portions were awesome and filling! Took lots of food home because we couldn’t finish it all. Our chef was amazing! Definitely recommend giving them a try!

We have tried most places for Hibachi in Dallas and this is by far our favorite! The staff was amazing (and very kind when we shattered glass all over the floor), the grill chef made the fire small for our young one and even made him a little egg. The veggies had broccoli and carrots and the food was all around spectacular! I’m not sure they want us back but stellar dinner for date night. Highly recommend!

Me and my family came to this location on December 23. We waited almost 30 minutes for our 45 minute wait and we set a reservation. The bartender never acknowledged us but the other guest who were white. We tried ordering with him on numerous occasions and he acted like he couldn’t see us it was very disgusting! I would not recommend this place if you’re a person of color!

We had a great experience at Imperial Hibachi & Sushi. We both ordered the chicken hibachi dinner and we got two sushi rolls – fried calamari tempura and veggie tempura. The sushi rolls were phenomenal and I can’t wait to try them again soon. The hibachi dinner was delicious and we had to box it up to go because there was at least two meals worth of food served to us.
The hibachi chef was friendly, funny, and skillful. He gave us quite a show and he did a good job cooking the food. We ended up at a table with another family that was also celebrating a birthday and we all had a great time together.
My only qualm was that I asked for noodles as my hibachi side but got fried rice with the rest of the table instead. Not a big deal overall.
If you’re craving hibachi and in the area, give Imperial a try.
