My sister and I had lunch here for her birthday and we loved it. While some items were didn’t like for our personal tastes and preferences it was overall delicious and reasonable priced.

Shout out to Ying for being an amazing server! My sister does not like spicy food, and Ying explained what items they could accommodate to not be spicy for us. She was very personable and we both left with smile on our face from our encounter with her.

My sister and I already have plans to visit again the next time were in Charlotte!

Good food for decent price. no waiting observed during weekdays lunch hours. You can also customize your oder based on original menu selection.

Overall Rating: 4.9/10
This dining venue offers a unique interior design but struggles with service and food execution, leaving room for improvement across various aspects of the dining experience.

Atmosphere:
The restaurant presents a unique layout with distinctive panda-themed tables that add character to the dine-in area. However, the front desk setup gives off more of a takeout vibe, which might confuse expectations for new visitors.

Service: 3.4/10
Service appeared overwhelmed despite a manageable crowd, indicating possible issues with staff efficiency or organization. The delivery of food was delayed, and the complimentary wonton shells provided were stale and unappealing, detracting significantly from the dining experience.

Food:

Appetizers: 4.9/10
The appetizers were underwhelming, resembling the quality typically expected from takeout rather than dine-in. Nothing in the selection distinguished itself as particularly noteworthy.

General Gau: 5.1/10
The dish was competently prepared with good quality chicken but lacked a standout element to elevate it above average. The chicken was not as crispy as desired, and the inclusion of only green peppers was uninspired. Although the flavor was bold, it did not surpass expectations.

Pork Fried Rice: 5.9/10
A slightly above-average dish, it featured a generous mix of veggies and egg, enhancing the texture and flavor, though the pork itself lacked distinctiveness, blending too subtly into the background.

Value: 5.7/10
At $51 before tax for three people, including leftovers to take home, the meal provided reasonable value for money given the overall quality and quantity of food served.

This place is just “meh”. We ordered both the hot and iced tea and both had a very odd aftertaste, so they were sent back and we stayed with water. The complimentary chips were tasteless and the duck sauce was watery. The crab rangoons were mostly overly fried dough. The entrees were small portions and we both left hungry. The waitress was pleasant. The hostess/cashier was loud and on auto-pilot as she kept telling people to have a good “night” when it was only 12:30pm. We do not recommend.

We have frequented this place quite often because we thought it was the best Chinese in town. I repeated my order twice to the person over the phone, who clearly wasn’t paying attention. So not only when we got home with our food did we notice the order was wrong and she did not give us an extra side of pork fried rice, The beef and broccoli, was mainly broccoli. My husband called up to get it rectified, but sounded like the manager couldn’t be bothered. Won’t be ever coming back here again.

Genuinely the worst beef with broccoli I’ve ever had. I was very disappointed because several people recommended this place to me, but my meal was awful. The fried rice tasted like cardboard and the beef tasted like rubber. It was inedible to the point where I had to throw it away. I will say the wings were pretty good though.

I waited for their dining room to open up again and went on Valentines night. Waited about 15 minutes to be sat. It’s a little understaffed but the servers and front desk lady were all super quick, tidy, and kind! The food is delicious here and the atmosphere is more lowkey and peaceful.

This is a good place for dinner. It has all the common Chinese dishes and tastes better than average. The price is reasonable. The servings are plenty. We had a party of five and only ordered three dishes to share. The service was quick and very courteous.

Old school Chinese restaurant. Very classy. Maybe needs a refresh… tables and chairs were a little creepy.
The food was awesome! I had Hunan beef and the table had crab rangoons and fried pork wontons. All were excellent.
You won’t go wrong choosing imperial Garden Chinese.

Arrived during dinner peak hour everything was hot and fresh. Everything tasted exceptional except the egg roll. It just had that weird zingy taste. Aside from that everything was very tasty. Will be coming back for sure and the server was on top of refills and everything came out right in time.
