The portions looked rushed and poorly made. The food arrived warm but the quality was low. I expected better, especially after giving them a second chance. I will not order from here again. The experience was frustrating and the food was not worth the money.
We called the restaurant as we were quite surprised at how expensive the dish was. They confirmed the dish only comes with 12 pieces of shrimp although the photo reflects a larger amount. We were very disappointed as there was not enough food for our group of people. Sure, if this was a much nicer restaurant with organic dishes and everything was fresh, I would be more than happy to pay that price but this isn’t the case as we felt their photos were deceitful.
There are plenty of other REALLY good Asian restaurants that aren’t overpriced. Definitely not ordering from here again
The Har Gow and Siu Mai were reheated. Shouldn’t do that.
They served Cantonese BABY Roast Duck. Not meaty, no meat flavor, and tasteless.
I missed my own restaurant.
Came in on a cold January night in 2025, restaurant were only 1/3 full, 2 roasted duck left in the oven display and 1 slab of pork. Lighting was plentiful for this hidden gem place.
This is one of the few places in Fresno that serve whole roasted duck. They offered not just one but two type of roasted duck. PEKING duck, which is using pure traditional techniques to elevate the protein flavor and texture. The other is House special roasted duck, which had marinated in traditional warm spices and sauces, to further enhance the protein. Flavor profile would resonate well with the well trained palate in the Asian cuisine. This dish was paired with some pickled julienne daikon carrot and cucumber, a perfect balance of acid to cut through the duck fattiness with exceptional fresh crisp. I could go on more about the dish but you should try it for yourself, save some mystery to be discovered.
Another dish that didn’t miss was the salt and pepper squid, crispy light batter yet tender squid, not yet rubbery nor chewy, topped with fried green onion, it was near perfect appetizer for the meal.
XO sauce fish filet dish were made with plenty crunchy vegetables and fried cod fish. Sauce contained element of dried scallop and tiny shrimp, making this dish a seafood forward with plenty of umami.
Well, I will be back soon and yall should try it ASAP.
