However, NO WHERE on planet earth should four Chinese buffets cost 45 dollars a plate for a total just shy of $200. It was 33 bucks for food, four bucks for a fountain soda, and toss in extra for the MANDATORY 20% tip. For perspective, the buffet near my home is normally 15 dollars per person. For additional perspective, I took my wife to WALT DISNEY’s MAGIC KINGDOM for a fancy dinner at Beauty and the Beast castle…and IT COSTs LESS this Chinese Buffet.
Likewise:
1) The floor was slippery.
2) Nothing in the buffet was anything special…no sushi, no dim sum, no hibachi. Standard buffet fare with perhaps a little more seafood as it was a weekend during Lent.
3) Most of the food had been sitting out on the steam lines for a while. For example: White rice was crunchy, fries and chicken nuggets soggy, frog’s legs greasy, and seafood steamed soggy or greasy.
4) The restaurant puts a mandatory tip…but when you the final receipt…they put the tip line on a second time.
5) The price is only on the glass door outside the restaurant.
6) The overall experience is not worth $200 bucks. Not even close.
It’s Chinese buffet. It’s for tired shoppers and kids. So be a Chinese buffet and charge Chinese buffet prices.
My personal favorites are the steak and the salmon, but honestly, everything we’ve tried has been really good. The quality for the price truly can’t be beat. For two adults and a child, including tip, we spend around $60 — which is crazy considering that fast food can cost just as much (if not more) and isn’t nearly as fresh or satisfying.
If I had one small suggestion, I’d love to see a little more variety in the dessert options. But overall, this place is a gem, especially for families. We’ll definitely keep coming back!
Thanks for the wonderful time.

Food…lots of chicken and then some other stuff. The Korean Chicken was delicious..the Italian chicken was a bit on the dry side..but it wasn’t so dry that it couldn’t be eaten. The pepper steak however…was cold. The rice was on the dry side..and the lo mein..that’s where the star disappeared..wasn’t edible. I mentioned it to the girl, she brought out the cook and manager and it was because the burner or warmer underneath wasn’t on. Simple mistake..it happens. There were no signs of food being in plastic as others have mentioned..there were no signs of food being recooked as you see in other restaurants.
Parking…it’s in the corner of a strip mall, so there was plenty of parking.
Busy? I went around 12:30 and there were prolly around 15-20 other people in the buffet; families, and casual diners. I don’t go out dinner…just because by that time, I’ve already ate at 4 places and generally stuffed.
Price…this was the one that got me. People talking about how they charge and watch you eat. Lunch was 13.99 (as advertised on the door) and soda was 3.00 with free refills. They don’t give you the mug (think the size of a 28 oz soda)..instead it comes in a smaller cup (think the size of a 12 oz cup) so for lunch, after tip..it came to $21. For buffets, that’s about the normal.
Would I go back again? IF I’m back out that way in Berlin again…sure, I’d make it a return visit. Overall on the 5* system, I’d give them a 3.9. They don’t hover around you as others have suggested, but they are attentive, meaning..if you need something, they’ll get it to you quick. They don’t rush you out as others have said..but again, I can’t speak on dinner service because I went for lunch.
