Delicious Japanese spot! The yasai tempura was amazing; light, crispy, and made with very fresh seasonal vegetables. We also had the shoyu tonkotsu and tonkotsu ramen, and both were rich, flavorful, and super satisfying. Definitely a great place for ramen!

Mixed vibes at Imadake. On one hand, the food is incredible and served lightning-fast. On the other, the noise level is absolutely insane. It’s the kind of place where you have to scream to be heard. perfect for a rowdy group of friends, but a bit much for a Friday night date.

Service was disappointing at the end, our waiter literally went to do shooters with another table while we sat there waiting for the machine to pay our bill. We had to hunt down another staff member to settle up.

I’ll come back when I’m ready to scream my lungs off for sake bombs with a crowd, but never again for a “private” setting!

Located across Alexis Nihon/Atwater, they’re known for their sake bombs. The experience was quite a party scene! Me and my friends ordered sake bombs and they bring it to you, instructs how it works, then they chant loudly with you until you bang the table and your sake drops in the beer. We loved the sake bomb ritual!

While the food was mid (consensus from all of my friends), their matcha cheesecake is delicious and so are their cocktails. Service was a bit slow because it was packed and we had to remind some of our orders. However, the ambience was cozy and a bit loud (as expected on a weekend). I enjoyed my birthday party (and experience) there. Overall, recommended to RSVP in advanced as it can get packed and it’s a cute spot for dates or informal hangouts!

The ambiance was great and the service was very good, the shared fried dishes were good but my ramen was lukewarm and the other main meals were just a bit underwhelming

Food is very tasty but choices are limited and portions are small. A fun atmosphere for 25 to 35 yr olds. You can do shots that are balanced on chopsticks and then fall into a glass of beer.

With its lively, vibrant atmosphere, it’s the perfect venue for happy hour, to unwind after work, or just to have a great time with friends.

We kicked off our evening with some delicious appetizers, including salmon tartare and karaage, all of which were wonderful. For our main course, we indulged in a hearty, creamy ramen that was incredibly filling!

Of course, no visit would be complete without a round of sake bombs, and I couldn’t resist going all out with the Rainbow Bomb for a fun twist!

Very nice atmosphere and waitress was very kind, though I found it a little loud at some places in the restaurant.

Really excellent and high quality Japanese food!
Everything we ate was fresh, flavourful and pretty authentic. We were a big group, but six of us shared a bunch of entrees and a couple main dishes and we each had drinks and a round of shots as well. For all that the price split 6 ways was pretty good! And the service was on point. Our server came and checked on us regularly, ensured we had everything we needed.

My ONLY complaint is that we were there celebrating a birthday and the very small piece of cake they brought was actually charged, maybe that’s a thing restaurants do now but other places I’ve been to in the past always gave that for free. There’s a second reason I bring this up though and that’s because it wasn’t a good dessert. It was matcha flavour cheesecake and those flavours do not mix well. Many of us tried it and no one liked it, even though many of us like those two things separately, it just wasn’t good together.

Thanks for the wonderful dinner and experience! I plan to go back for a date night!
